This is so beautiful 😍 when I’ll be retired one day I will do such creative planning. At the moment I can only watch it during a break and smile 😊 thank you 🙏
Always love how your Dutch doors turn out and can't wait to see the ones you do with your die-cuts. Sounds fantastic woohoo ✋, hope they turn up in the mail 📬 soon 🔜
I don't journal as far as having a planner. I do Bible Study and Bible journaling, and I have seen several "creative" videos from other RUclips that show stickers, washi, water color for the more talented, but never this Dutch Door method. I must say that this is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time, and it's also something I can do! Affordability is going to be a huge consideration for me, so shopping on the website you use might not be in my price range. I'm going to take a look though, just to check things out. I would prefer the higher gsm paper for my notes, but it's very hard to find, and expensive when I do. But I know I can make this idea work for me as long as I am careful to swatch my pens and markers first. Thank you for showing this idea. I can't wait to give it a try.
160gsm paper is definitely worth the splurge if you can afford it. Wait for sales and stock up! Happy Planner, Archer and Olive, and a lot of other places have dot grid notebooks with 160 gsm paper. You might also check Michaels to see if there's a more affordable brand with 160 gsmp pages. As far as affordable supplies - wait for sales at Happy Planner (cyber week has some good deals or occasionally they have 40% off the site, or buy the older stuff that's in the sale section.) There are a TON of great places to get washi and stickers for cheaper online. The ship time may be longer since it's coming from overseas - but it's definitely a good way to stock up for cheaper. Stationery Pal and Journalsay are two of my favorites for that!
Beautiful! I can't believe the algorithm gods are just now showing me this, mid August. I'd love to try this out next month with the Canyon Modern sticker book.
That is so creative! I also watched the final flip-through and I really love it! I watch all kinds of journalling videos but have never come across anything so unique as this. It’s given me all kinds of ideas and inspiration. Can you tell me what sort of cutting tool you used, not sure if you mentioned it? I have a regular cutting tool but after nearly slicing my finger off I am a little scared to use it again lol!
Thank you so much! I’m so happy I could inspire you. :) and this is a gyro cut tool! I use it with a cutting mat sized for the Cricut Joy. There’s a bit of a learning curve and you have to try out using it with different amounts of pressure… but I absolutely love it. You can find it here: amzn.to/3BAWGn4

Super cute spreads! You’ve inspired me. What kind of journal are you using. I couldn’t find a link?

Thanks
Would be nice if u do one for beginners showing your count to align stickers. If you start in the back middle or front. But beautiful work
I don’t really count at all. I just line them up and see what works. But I certainly can talk through it more in a future video!
Wauw!
Thank you!
