So cute! I have a terrible time manipulating my hair, and I have layers & bangs, argh! I first found you looking for hair tutorials for my layered shoulder length hair and discovered Maskcara in the process ~ Yay for the home team!!! I will definitely try this look with my T3 Luxe Single Pass Flatiron (which I love, by the way!). I tried the Dyson and returned it because of the HUGE heavy cord lol! I have the Babyliss Ferrari hairdryer and love it, but may try the T3 next time around...hugs to you sweet girl!!!

I love this video thanks! I use leave in conditioner + thickening spray when hair is wet, and a dry texture spray for after the straight iron curls are in... works like a charm!

Love this!! I recently got six inches cut off my hair...it’s a teeny bit longer than yours, but super thick. This really helped me figure out how to do it! My hair is longer in the back so I can still pull it in a ponytail...do I just make the curls tighter in the back so it appears shorter?

I wish we could become friends. I have epilepsy and since the peeps around me found out, no one talks to me as if it were contagious. It isn't. I get so lonely a lot especially now with the Covid-19. Verb paste... it's good! It's not as dry as IGK but it's still a good product. Or milbon molding wax

I have thick hair, a medium length a line like yours. And maybe I do too thick pieces but my curls don't really stay. I've been curling at 400 degrees, should I go up?
Also do you curl every strand or leave some pieces straight?

Marissa L hey love- I make sure I get product in there before curling so it helps set the curls for a longer curl. I also let the other days be more of a loose curl. I sleep on my back so normally it’s not too bad.

Why thank you! This video is a bit older so my hair has changed a tad but I absolutely love L'ange products for styling and hair care. I don't have a color applied to my hair as it's just my natural and bleach but the toner used is: Base is 8N-9B and the ends are 10V 10NB. They're all Redken Shades. We tried and some steam was coming off and I didn’t know if that was normal or not. Freaked me out. I was going pretty quickly, like you were, but mine was on 360.
Everyone is different Ashley. I typically stay anywhere between 310--360. Be sure to use a heat protectant, too XO!

With your hard to curl hair I would recommend getting a titanium tool with heat settings so that you can turn it down and you do not burn your fine hair! What's the best way to use sea salt spray?
Janeece Smith I like it before I dry my hair if I’m drying and if I’m air drying - when it’s wet - it gives your hair some grit.
Fit Mission Makeup Jocelyn McClellan when you say grit? Does adding “grit” to your hair help the curls hold longer? My curls never stay in place? My curls always look good for about 30 minutes but always fall out no matter how much. Hairspray I use 😩
What’s the right temperature? Love your video 💓
I use my temperature from 390 - 410 but it's different for everyone depending on your hair. Make sure to slowly turn up the heat to see what works best for you.
What products do you use in your hair after you wash it?

What temp do you set your straightener at?
I set it anywhere from 370-390 degrees. My biggest recommendation is finding what temperature works best for your specific hair type!

Fit Mission Makeup Jocelyn McClellan I do get my hair highlighted. It’s mainly in the front and sides. I don’t wear my hair in a tight ponytail very often. I use a heat protectant but it doesn’t seem to help. What conditioners do you recommend?
I love your hair and you make it look so easy...however, I watch your videos so carefully, but when I try to copy your manuevers my hair won't cooperate (neither will my fumbling hands) and the "wave" I create ends up with me not being able to get the flatiron to move down the hair strand...it gets stuck and twisted at the beginning. So I end up just drawing it straight which doesn't look good either as it's too flat and has dents in it 😕. Guess I will try wigs or a pixie cut as my husband has suggested. Thank you just the same, I like watching your videos and your style is awesome

I have watched many of your hair tutorial videos. I enjoy watching. But, I hate that I never get to see you actually styling the back of your hair. I mean, are we supposed to be guessing what you’re actually doing back there? All I can do is guess. This is critical for someone trying to pull off a similar style. How the back is styled does matter a lot. I have noticed this in many of your hair tutorials. I did see a finished look on one or two of the videos after you trimmed your hair a bit shorter. It looks nice. But, I really, really wanted to see the back of the hair tutorial and then the finished look on all of the hair in this video and others before it was cut shorter...maybe a slow full turn around from one side to another. I’m thinking of getting this style. But, I want to make sure to ask my stylist for exactly what it is. I know it’s an A line bob cut. But, it looks like she’s done some other stuff to it, also. 🤷🏻♀️
