This is an old video but I just had to thank you for this tutorial. I recently got my hair cut and could not figure out how to get my hair wavy. All the other tutorials I followed resulted in my hair being too curly and shrunken. This is perfect!

THIS is the EXACT video I’ve been looking for!! All these other “short” hair videos are medium/shoulder length videos, NOT SHORT. 😂 Been planning on getting my hair cut to the same length as yours and I’m now watching this as I’m sitting in the salon chair getting it chopped off. I am completely inept when it comes to styling my hair and this really worked for me on my first try! I got this straightener and followed your tips and even though the right side was trickier and doesn't look as good, I can see it looking amazing with a little practice. Thank you!

Thanks for a great tutorial! I’ve watched sooo many videos of curls/waves with a straightener and I tried it the other day. It didn’t go horribly but it didn’t go as well as I would have liked. Lol
I’m curious - when moving the straightener down the hair, do you try and keep tension pulled on the hair and the bottom pieces should just get pulled into the straightener? Or do you kind of “chase” the bottom of the hair to make sure it gets into the straightener? If that makes ANY sense. 🤦🏻♀️🤣 I was having issues with keeping my hair going into the straightener all the way down. Like I’d get a good bend and curl up top but the bottom portion wouldn’t make it into the straightener at all. Kind of like your very first wave fell out - except my hair is about collar bone length and it fell out waaaay too soon. Any thoughts/suggestions? 😊🤷🏻♀️

The Day before my prom and my stylist chopped my hair way shorter than I wanted 😭😭😭 asked for just below shoulder length, got just below my jaw line. This video came in clutch tho!! Thank you so much ❤

The pink one isn’t available anymore unfortunately.. I got it from my sister who’s a hairstylist and she got it at an event. It was a limited edition iron for breast cancer awareness!

do you put anything under or over to make it last. i find when i use a powder blush it fades so quickly.

Based on the video I would say it looks like a classic blunt bob.
It's not layered- but the ends are texturized. My hair flips out naturally if that's what you mean

i think my problem with how i can’t make the curl look like that, is because my straightener isn’t good🤣😓
