Ok. This was perfect. I just wanted a bend in my hair, and that is what I got. I only have the use of one hand right now because I fractured my elbow and have it in a splint and sling. I can’t use this arm at all. It’s a challenge, but I did it!😉
Would you say it depends on the straightener? I have two and one of them achieves this exact look but the other achieves a much more tight curl look. I use the same technique with both
You do make this look effortless but it's not! However I don't know what texture your hair is? Is it thick/thin? Also what product had you put on your hair to protect it? How hot do you have your straighteners? I bought some - for me - quite expensive straighteners and they are not curling my hair or if they do: the curl drops out completely in a few hours!
To be honest with you, I think my hair was healthy here because it was one of my first times ever bleaching my hair. Later that year after keeping up with the color I felt like I had a lot of breakage. Which is why I am back to my natural color. Bleach is too hard on your hair
I’m not sure about colors or toners. I just told my hair dresser I wanted to be platinum blonde lol 😅 At this time I was also use Revlon’s color stay purple shampoo
I actually didn't. I prob should have, haha. I was able to get my hair platinum in one salon appt, I am naturally blonde so it wasn't very hard to get this light. I did have to maintain it very often tho cause my roots would grow fast. Thank you!

I def think so yeah!! I think the way the irons are on the straightener have a lot to do with it for sure

it takes repetition and practice. Once you get it down its really easy! I promise

I can't seem to hold the flat iron to get that curl
I tried this and it worked perfectly on my underside layer (i’ve got slightly thicker hair) but I just cannot get it to work on the top!!! any tips?
