I think the best part about the ShiftCam ProGrip is how it's 3 devices rolled into one. Is there something out there comparable that can do all 3, maybe even more?

Nice video mate!. Please talk about the negatives of this grip as well. For example, just try to slide your phone into this ShiftCam pro grip without your phone case on and you will see how bad its clamp is and your phone will slide out. This is not ideal when you want to walk around holding this grip with your phone inside it without the phone cover on.
I didn't initially test without my cases on the work phone (iPhone 11) and personal phone (Samsung Galaxy S9) because I'm just too accident prone. I get so nervous taking the case off the Galaxy when I use it to fly my Mavic 2 Pro, but to be better able to talk about it, I just did. The iPhone 11 still fits like a glove without the bumpers, but the Galaxy definitely needed the 2 bumpers that are included, and then it was secure.
great vid. can u add an external wireless mic to your iPhone with it being in the progrip at the same time?
I appreciate that. I believe you could with the way the grip is. You would just have to either go vertical mode and have the mic (receiver or shotgun) sit in the cold shoe on top or slide the phone out a bit for horizontal mode.
There is also a 1/4-20 screw hole on the bottom of the grip where you could screw the mic into if the cord is too short. My Deity mic came with a 1/4-20 adapter that allows me to screw it into a spot like that, but most cords that come with mics are long enough to reach.
On horizontal mode, the grip has a good clamp that the phone can be moved out a bit to allow for the cord jack to go into the phone. And there are 2 sets of bumpers included in case the phone is smaller.

Can you add ssd and are you able to mount on a try pod stand?
Not sure about attaching an SSD due to how close that end of the phone is to the grip, but it does have a 1/4 inch screw point on the bottom for adding a tripod plate.
Apologies if you already said this in your video but this device does not "pause and restart" video's in the making. Pause and restart are perfect for kids sporting events which is why I do this all the time. I bought this device via Amazon and am sending it back. It's nifty other than that.
Ah, I hate that. I did not know that was a feature on a phone for recording. I have normally seen parents at sporting events just recording small clips, not as much start and pause, but I do know some baseball and softball parents who do that. Can see how the ProGrip wouldn’t be the ideal thing for you, although offering the longer charge and a way to more easily mount to a tripod is nice.
@@Milledge.Austin Yes, Apple phones do not allow for video pause and record, creating 1 large video file. With iPhones one must create multiple small files and stitch them together. Android, for all it's faults, shines in this category whereby allowing the user to make one massive file. Terrific feature for saving time when uploading to RUclips. Anyway, thanks so much for the response! For mounting I use a really sweet metal phone clamp that has a tripod mount. Normally my phone, S23 Ultra 512gb, has epic image stabilization so I have been using a handheld GoPro mount when a tripod isn't an option.
Little expensive for the price of $149.99, is it worth that price?
It's an interesting device. I would say if someone wants to do more photo and video with their phone, and have a tripod mount, a wireless shutter release, and a wireless charger all wrapped up in 1, it could be worth it.
