I have one and it works great. The mirror is so you can see if you're in the frame when using the front firing camera for videos or selfies. The camera grip also acts as a stand.

My CapGrip 2 remote automatically turns on and connect to my phone when plugged in for charging, and after finish charging I have to turn it off. Is yours the same ?
Hello this is flyboy! Yeah it does automatically turns on and connects to my phone too when charging. And yes I have to turn it off as well. If you don’t want that to happen just “forget the device” on the phone and it’ll stop. Sorry for the super late response by the way.

Just turn off the bluetooth.
Ulanzi should have added a light instead of that silly mirror. Snap Grip did it.
The Snapgrip also use mirror FYI, but with additional light.
