He was just omnipresent in attack. Always in the right place at the right time. I have heard that in recent Premierships, now they have GPS, Ashton runs more per game than any other player in the Prem, which is why he's always on the ball carrier's shoulder.
hahahahaha good one wales have a better six nations and world cup record than ireland in the pro era (don't even bother comparing amateur records) but ahahahaha gr8 joke
For a part 2 I'm thinking with old man specs on but: Shane Williams v Australia - any of them England 2002 autumn tries - some outstanding ones against NZ and clinical tries against the Boks Ireland 2006 - Trimble against SA England 2000 - Balshaw against Oz
Was in the stadium for Stockdale singlehandedly beating the All Blacks and it's safe to say it was my favourite rugby memory! Also, why can't Ireland just go back to white jerseys against SA?!?
Is there a particular try missing? Let me know - I will add it to a part two! DISCLAIMER: This took a long time to make and i've probably made a mistake with the text so apologies in advance!
Being an Ashton apologist, his try against NZL in 2018 is a personal favourite of mine, considering how hard he worked himself back into the England set-up around that time. And don't worry about misspellings, Mr. Forde. You never disappoint!
Off the top of my head, Teddy Thomas scored a sensational try vs Australia in 2014. If you want to go back in time, Garbajosa scored a great one vs New Zealand in 2000. Belleau scored a decent one vs South Africa too. One of Vakatawa's try vs Samoa was also worth the entry fee
Ireland are funny. They usually do so well in these Autumn internationals but ALWAYS flop at the World Cup when it matters most😃 I'll be surprised if Ireland make it past the pool stages next year.
Ashton is one the most gifted wingers ever to grace the game.
So long as you forget about his tackling, kicking and passing. 😂
Archetypal winger really isn't he 🤣 very good at scoring tries and running with the ball, doesnt offer much else 🤣

tbf his kicking was alright
He was cool. A breathe of rare fresh air out of England.
Bloody brilliant again Mr Forde they were outstanding try’s thankyou for the compilation and the effort involved. Loved it all fella!
Stockdale's try was a thing of sheer beauty to watch.
Great compilation as always Mr Forde. Thank you.
Chris Ashton in his prime was a thing of beauty 5:08
Love that Leicester try. Tigers beating SA was one of the best games I’ve been to
Ireland’s performance in Autumn: unbeatable
Ireland in a QF: about as good as wales when playing Italy
hahahahaha good one wales have a better six nations and world cup record than ireland in the pro era (don't even bother comparing amateur records) but ahahahaha gr8 joke
@@Mr___X lmao someone’s mad
more like when wales play NZ
@@maelmao tell yer maw i am NOT interested in going facebook official. it was just a one time thing.
He's Right.🥲
I don't remember that Nonu one. But boy could Tom Croft shift .
Man had wheels! Massively underrated player for England

A couple of names I haven't heard for a long time there. Obviously I don't mean Shane Williams, whom the Welsh bring up at every opportunity.
Great stuff again. Scott Williams against NZ springs to mind too
Just superb mate. Thanks!
That Fiji vs France try might get called back these days for obstruction. Coles got penalised against Arg for similar last week.
I like the variety of sides proposed here. Ashton v Australia is my favorite.
Scott Williams vs New Zealand should be up there
For next time, Teddy Thomas against Australia in 2014 is an unbelievable solo effort!
That’s in part two! Most recent video on my channel :)

Enjoyed that video! For next one Huw Jones and Beauden Barrett both scored crackers in the Scotland v NZ test in 2018.

Only one Welsh try?
@@willselwyn6882 which try would you add?
Juan de jongh Vs Wales in 2008 I think had a great solo try
I believe that was in 2010 and it was in a summer test I'm afraid
Great tries. However, if Leicester is an international team it seems a bit unfair that they are allowed to play in the Premiership!
Leicester used to play the Baa-Baas every boxing day and touring sides would generally play them as part of their test preparation.
Make a video on Ben Youngs passing to touch. If you can get it under 30 mins 😂
Rees-Zammit vs Fiji

good vid
God I remember that ashton try, incredible pace and footwork
Welsh rugby: "1 try? Am I a joke to you?" 🥲
