That Japan win against South Africa is one of my favourite rugby memories ever. Nothing against the Boks at all but I live in Brighton and was watching it on the big screen in the fanzone on the beach and the atmosphere was unbelievable and continued all over the city all night. I made some new friends from both Japan and SA that night. Magical.
Hats off to Uruguay. Most improved side in World rugby. Immense effort to get to next years RWC. Drop kicking or kicking a penalty isn't too unbelievable. I was at heathrow airport when my wife texted that Japan had beaten SA . I told her not to be silly . That simply can't happen. The very definition of unbelievable!
yes, for us uruguayans was a massive win, it was the pay of decades of hard work for qualificating to the world cups only us knew the potential we had and we have nowadays
A lot of moments beating South Africa.Although i hate the losses im proud weve been held at the highest standard in world rugby since before the 2000s.
I hate seeing that SA loss to Japan clip, not because of the Springboks losing but because of how bad a state the selections, coaching and mindset was. Hats off to Eddie Jones and Japan though
Nice viewing once again, Andrew. A few days ago, I watched some football compilations called "when the assist is better than the goal" or something similar. So if you're pondering video ideas, maybe there's a rugby equivalent - something like "100% deliberate tries directly from up-field kicks" like Smith>Barrett to win the 2015 World Cup, Williams>Davies earlier that World Cup against England. That sort of thing. Or you could broaden it to "legendary rugby assists" and include Dillyn Leyds>SP Marais, Carlos Spencer>Rokocoko. But I imagine that's vague enough that you' would've covered something like that before. Anyway, always nice to see your compilations.
@@rhysjones3867 I mean, I disagree. England were beaten by a (said through grudging teeth) good welsh side. Wales were beaten by a team who hadn’t won in my memory
I reckon an honourable mention at least for the QLD Reds winning the 2011 Super Rugby final at home after suffering the worst flooding in nearly 40 years

What a great moment in rugby!
It's gotta be in top 5 rugby moments of all time
And to prove it was no fluke. In 2019, japan then defeated both ireland and Scotland to finish top of the pool...

As a Leinster fan, I was absolutely delighted for Connacht in 2016 and it's great to see them developing players ever since
Maybe the Munster miracle match vs Gloucester for a part 2!! Great video 👍

Before the 2000s? Dream on
Calm down i never saud the whole period before the 2000s i was juss saying before the 2000s at a point
actually not much difference in winning ratio pre 2000 to post. Pre it was 63% afterwards it was 60%
Morne Steyn may not have a World Cup, but hey! Two lions series won of his boot. Unbelievable
The passion shown by the Uruguayan team was magnificent

Thank you - brilliant suggestions as well, will certainly take it into account :)
Argentina beating the All Blacks in 2020 after not playing for an entire year has to be in part 2!
What about it?
@@Macron87 It was pretty unbelievable given they'd never beaten the All Blacks together and their training consiste of doing workouts on Zoom.
given the AB coach makes it a bit more believable now Im afraid.
@@MrAhuapai indeed
Also Rainbow cup, and Italy-galles 2022 :)
Larkam drop goal is pure filth!
How on earth does Harlequins' Semi Final against Bristol (and Final vs Exeter) to win the Premiership in 2021 not feature??
It was initially - but given that it was a semi-final rather than the final I opted for Connacht winning the league. Apologies :)
Because… who cares?
@@Macron87
Because it’s one of the most entertaining, bonkers games in recent memory?
You missed the chance to again show Wales beating England in their own world cup. That should be shown at every possible chance haha
Good point! I will have a video out next Friday with that included however :)
@@AndrewDavidForde haha nice one mate
That’s fair so I say we should have wales defeat at the hands of Italy on repeat haha
@@Wolfsong27FlyHalfFullHeart of course. It's only fair. But nowhere near as funny

If your going to include premiership rugby then could you also include some great moments from Super rugby because there are a lot of those too
I reckon an honourable mention at least for the QLD Reds winning the 2011 Super Rugby final at home after suffering the worst flooding in nearly 40 years
That England vs Scotland game is the happiest I’ll ever be for a draw 😂🤦♂️
I was a neutral for that game and my heart was pounding the whole way through, what a game
Uruguay is the one for me.
What a timely compilation, given Argentina’s defeat over NZ yesterday!
With respect to the Quade Cooper bit @ 1:40 , Why was the crowd so sparse?
I admit I expected to see Ange Capuozzo and his show in Cardiff
Omg I love quade cooper
