Fabulous interviewing skills there man! And happy to hear Steve. I have been a saga fan since 84, so it's about time I listened to the people behind the music. Living in the same neck of the woods as them now, there really is no excuse.

I stumbled onto Saga with the their Worlds Apart. It seemed after the two albums they fell of the radar here in L.A. late 80's (at least for me)... then in 2000 trying to rebuild my music collection after losing all of my music I came to find they never stopped making albums though I hadn't kept up. Well, in the early 2000's I bought every thing they did and loved everything right up to Marathon. That album and others since I haven't enjoyed as much. I have always loved Steve's drumming... simply amazing!!! I am now looking forward to his new album as well as previous ones that I was unaware of.
As far as this interview... you asked all the right questions, gave plenty of time for answers that I found very enlightening. Now I'm searching for MORE of you vid's!!! Thanks for doing Saga stuff as they are one of my favorites and to have some background has been really good to hear.
    Keep up the GREAT job!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been a Saga fan since the earliest days (if my nick ain't obvious, lol). Steve's always been one of my all-time favorite drummers. Great interview. Cool to know he lives not far down the road here in Niagara.

I met Steve 4 times with Saga and for his last show with them in Hamilton at his leaving party' of which Jim Crichton and Jim Gilmour where there. I met him in 1987 when my band opened for Lee Aaron and Steve and Jim Gilmour were filling in for the band. Steve was always a very humble and friendly guy.

I worked FOH Sound with Saga in the early 80's. Steve was the power house behind that band. He had a great sounding kit. Also introduced "The Simmons Drum Kit" to the world.

I agree- SAGA was very much a supergroup, in the sense that every member was a master of their craft and brought something unique to the table.

lol! Thanks for that! It's been an absolute honor to now have interviewed 3 members of SAGA (Michael Sadler, Jim Gilmour, and now Steve Negus), as they're so under-appreciated & happen to be one of my top 5 all-time favorite bands.

@@ryangriffith3729 If you go on my channel, just search Michael Sadler, and Jim Gilmour, and they’ll pop up. It seems to me you’re a major fan of the band, and those two interviews were just as incredible, all thanks to the amazing & humble people that they are.

SAGA is your band , then you must like the band RUSH , 2 Prog Rock bands that made it big world wide, unfortunately allot didn't get SAGA in N. America and it took them to go to Europe were they were monumental in the music scene. SAGA Behavior album ,,, one of my all time Favs.

Oh, absolutely. I'm a major RUSH fanatic as well. SAGA's my #1 though, and I think their criminally underrated place in the world of music has only made me appreciate them even. "Behaviour" is outstanding! The songs & production by Peter Walsh are sublime.
