David, I appreciate the kind words. I started in the production side of things here and transitioned into Sales. We have an amazing production crew, and you are correct our team allows me to have the confidence I do in our product.
Thanks Lori! If you have any questions please let us know or visit www.luxehaulers.com/dodge-ram-5500-silver for even more specifics on the Silver Luxe Truck
I just love your videos. I watch them everyday. Hypothetically would it be possible to ditch the light pilon and then put stacks powder coated in black in its place using the centre “coffin” area for the exhaust cross over to stacks. It would be like a mini big rig. If you guys get bored you should build one on a 5500/6500 Chev. It would probably sell 8 seconds after it was uploaded to RUclips
You certainly can go with a taller gear. That being said you will lower your GCWR. I would recommend getting the gear that meets your needs with what you plan to use the truck for.
It isn't an option from RAM and it isn't an option that we install. There may possibly be a company out there that does this type of modification. I'm not aware of anyone who does.
Theoretically speaking yes we can put our bed on a truck that has been converter with a sleeper. We would want the measurement from the back of the sleeper to the center of the rear axle to be either 60" or 84" and the over hang or aft measurement to be 49" from center of rear axle to end of frame.
Hey Terry! A CDL is not required to tow a Luxe. Luxe is a Factory Direct Company. No dealerships. The main base is in Elkhart IN but they have a showroom in Mansfield Tx and in Murrieta CA. You can also catch them at several RV shows during the year. Here is their website: luxefifthwheel.com/ and here is the link to Luxe Trucks: www.luxehaulers.com/
@@haulertrucks I was wanting the name of your Ram dealer in Indiana if they can get one and license it in WA State as I do not want to pay sales tax twice. Thanks.

The reference to a 2x4 for example gives someone the idea of the interior space that is available length wise. I fully understand it's a 5500 capable of hauling something heavier than a 2x4. It's the versatility of the different configuration we offer to best suit our customers needs. I don't follow exactly whet you are referencing "You mean transfer tank" We can install an Aux tank or a Transfer tank or a combination of both depending on our customer needs. AUXILIARY FUEL TANKS are defined by the Vehicle Equipment Safety Commission as an additional fuel tank and any other components attached directly thereto designed to supplement the vehicle's fuel carrying capability beyond that provided by the vehicle manufacturer. Transfer Tanks are for the transfer of fuels. This could be bringing extra fuel on a trip to fill up an ATV, or maybe you’re in construction and need to top off a generator. They are primarily used for diesel but depending on the manufacturer you can find tanks that are certified for other fuels. The big difference between a transfer tank and an auxiliary tank is the transfer tank has to have the fuel pumped out, but this can be pumped to your truck's fuel tank. But in order to transfer the fuel you will need a transfer pump.
Paul our Elite 60" CA bed starts at $26,500 installed painted to match. If you go with all the options that this truck has the price is around $50,000 installed painted to match. It really depends on your wants and needs. You can submit a request for a quote here www.utilitybodywerks.com/quote-request.html.
We are selling turn-key trucks with the same load as this truck for 130k-140k depending on the final details and options. They are loaded to the max on the Chassis and the upfit.
@@Funky.P0V As long as the Cab to Axle length is at least 57" roughly we can build a bed for it. We would want to nail down more specifics and get some photos of it before you sent us the truck just confirm the scope of work. Starting price for that bed would be $22,250.00
You're correct that the Limited will weigh more than say a Tradesman and therefore reduce the max payload of the truck since they will both have the same GVWR. To say they are a waste of money is your opinion. In our case pairing the Limited up with our hauler bed and luxury 5th wheel is a great combo. The payload capability of the Limited RAM 5500 still exceeds what our customers would need. This doesn't mean its perfect for everyone's needs but it is perfect for our bed full of gear and extra fuel while towing even our largest 25,999Lbs GVWR luxury 5th wheel. I appreciate your comment and the conversation it brings.
Such enthusiasm in this presentation.
Looks like you are extremely uneducated about enthusiasm then
You’re the only presenter on RUclips who is calm, which speaks for the confidence you have in your product and workmanship.

What a Sexy truck! Looks amazing in silver!
Excellent...😎🇺🇸👍...TY
WOW!
If I feel like the ratio 4:89 to much for me should I get 550 with 4:44 or go for 450 with 4:44

Amazing
Is it possible to get the jackknife sofa in the backseat of the 5500?

What size wheels?
Can you do an 80 ca after a sleeper has been installed?

With that set up on that ram 5500 can you do hot shot

Makes me wonder about the investment

2x4s? It’s a 5500. You mean a transfer tank?

We currently do not offer a turn-key GMC LUXE Truck. We can build our bed for a GMC DRW long bed pickup that you provide.
