Maybe with the extra games in Europe taking up half of all the fixtures we should think about expanding the top flight in Scotland to 16 teams and having just two fixtures between each side. I've said this for years I love the Glasgow derby matches but when you face that lot 4,5 even 6 times in a season it cheapens the fixture in my opinion, the league 100% needs expanding to 16 or 18 teams like the Bundesliga.

This Unity proposal is poor but they are correct about 1 thing, there will be more European games in the future, not less. Now UEFA have the answer to these competitor proposals which is to increase their tournaments fixtures form 8 to 10 or 12. Eventually I think UEFA will have us playing 16 European games which will force domestic leagues to reduce their own fixtures or a complete breakaway will happen with promotion and relegation from and to domestic leagues
The footballing schedule is already packed with far to many games this unify league would make that even worse, players have been threatening a strike for a number of years now for how much there asked to play, yes there paid a pretty penny to play the sport they love but there still human beings this sounds like a horrendous idea, I like the current UCL format and id just stick with that.
