Just watched it all - thanks so much for posting! Hoping to get out in the big world and see a show in person. Fingers crossed, prayers up and pennies in the piggy bank.
Enjoying!!! Love this, and Steve!!! My life would be different without you and your music for so many years. Your music is part of the soundtrack of my life. What a treasure....
When ever I hear Steve on the Gibson, I often think of him on a big Old Ovation, real chopper lol, music like a literary roadtrip, whoo,,, were Rockin with Steve Forbert,,,, many thanks
"I lost my watch a week ago, and I can't find the time ..." Love it. Great song. There's gotta' be some life to living!!!!!!! Love the instrumental sections too.
This man works his ass off on stage! Seen him 80 times from the late seventies until now and he never once disappointed me! You can tell his love and appreciation for his fans and gives his BEST every show
Have seen him but certainly not as many as you. Started following him in the 80's. Have seen him in a few small venues and the Warner Theater in DC where he opened for Bonnie Raitt. She loves him.
You know I remember when they were comparing Steve to Dylan and saying he was the next Dylan. I for one I'm sure glad he wasn't in the next dylan but the first Steve. Even today when I listen to Romeo's to him I can't help but explode with it. It just ravs you up and fills you with life as you sing along. I love taking my mustang out dropping the top going on the back roads and driving through the fall leaves with this song cranking. I don't know but it makes you feel like you're going to live forever.
Thanks for posting. Since i was a young kid i enjoy Steve's music. I never forgot the meeting in the dressing room after a gig where i spoke with Steve, very friendly guy.
You know what's cool? Growing up, I pretty much listened to Elvis. Then in the 1980s, I found George Winston and Beethoven. A bit of the Doors after George's cover of some of their music. So the music I come across now is all new to me. I accidentally found your music, and I think it's great.
I have been a fan of Steve Forbert for close to 50 years now. I wish he would come to Long Island, although I believe he did come out here once many years ago, but I am not totally sure. Thanks for posting!
Geeze. Suffering a long-time unrequited love affair, the first song always get me. A writer of sorts and the antithesis of a stoic, it's certain I've been overthinking many issues for many years. (Oh, looky there: I already commented once here.)
THERE IT IS! "What Kinda' Guy." Are you ever gonna' answer that question? I'm not smart enough to figure it out. PLUS, YOU'VE CHANGED THE LYRICS!!!!!!!

One more time
Get down Steve.

So beautifully written. I can feel the experience!
I would've been the next Steve, but I'm Dave. Thank you.
I will never compare Steve Forbert to anyone. He is the best . Nuff said. Amen. ( although I also love Arlo Guthrie” Washington County”)

Always great to see a hometown guy play at home

Saw him live in 78 in N.J
Can't wait to be at your concert in Glasgow soon...
When was that?
Cool
steve forbert means the same to me as van morrison both are living legends ok steve means more haha
Sorry , but in my humble opinion, Steve ranks number one
I do agree that Van blessed us with “Tupelo Honey”, but Steve always continues to shine
😊

The coolest version of the oil song
Love the accordion and the harmonica together
I just work here, I don’t know. This is what every employee at every store is taught to say to customers
Trace thoughts far enough might write a book.

Just discovered you Steve & buying your albs. You sound so English as does your songs, bit like Donovan rather than Dylan to me.
Don’t get no finer
