Have you tried Barebells protein bars? I get mine online, but I know Trader Joe’s has them too. I’m so picky with protein bars, but these legitimately taste like candy bars. It’s insane haha I take one to work and look forward to it everyday. They have 20 grams of protein and are 5 points.
If you go to a local supplement store (gnc, vitamin shoppe, 5star nutrition etc) they will usually have sample packs or will just give you samples of various protein powders. Then you can try various flavors/types and see what works for you!
@@LaurenMJansen I personally love the IsoJect protein powder from EVOGEN. I order it from their website. I also suggest core nutritionals as a brand. I’m not a health professional, just someone who likes lifting weights. Unfortunately I find protein powder is so hit or miss with most that you have to go through the painstaking process of trying a few when you can
As for flavors in the evogen kind, s’mores (has little hot cocoa marshmallows in it) and oatmeal cookie (tastes like a scooby snack to me) are both great.
Love the idea of using cottage cheese instead of mayo! I was so curious and it looked so good that you got me craving egg salad sandwich ;) I just tried it and it is delicious!
I just love your babies. . They are just beautiful and funny. Nora looks just like my youngest granddaughter when she was that age....mine is now a junior in college❤
Your "carrot cake" looked delicious! I deff want to try that. I make my protein shakes with Orgain protein powder and whizz it up on my Ninja with ice, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and some fruit. It tastes pretty much like Premier minus the cane sugar. Have you tried RX Protein Bars? I heard they were pretty good.
I think it’s similar to the WW smoothie principle of 1 serving of fruit at a time is 0pts… but you count for smoothies bc it’s blended 🤷♀️ I say count as it fits you! (Cause I don’t count it in smoothies either 😉)
I don't see how you had points left over. you had 2 points for coffee, 13 for the costco lunch, 2 for the fruit snack, 4 for the oat snack and 13 for dinner. That'34 then you had 7 points worth of bread for your sandwich. That looks like 41 points to me.
I used 1/2 the egg salad mixture on the sandwich. But honestly should have eaten it all… even after this I was 616 calories & 40 grams of protein under my daily goal. Remember what’s right for your goals aren’t for everyone else’s.

The salty peanut tastes just like a Snickers bar! You can't go wrong with any of the flavors though.

I would classify it as a meal… but I did note it under the snack category in my WW app for tracking.
