@@CupofTomorrow The Oivo is almost impossible to get on the controller, the clasp, at least that's what I found in my review. I also didn't like how the Oivo held the console, as it never felt that secure. The Fixture S1 locks October the system in a more secure fashion, while it is much easier to install and remove the controller
@@C1aYalC hey ! I find it good for regular use but definitely not for laying in bed. Too heavy and awkward position. Overall very solid for playing pokemon unite
You certainly could if your smart phone is wide enough to fit the grips - my iPhone 14 Pro Max is just BARELY big enough to make it work so you’d probably need a pretty wide phone
Possibly - you may run into some issues with the Power A controllers that have the programmable button on the back, right in the middle. Since the Power A is slightly smaller than the Pro Controller you may end up with fit issues as well since this is so snug on it. Could be loose on Power A. You could always try it and if it doesn’t work return it - but I can’t 100% tell you that it will work. I just don’t know for sure and can only make educated guesses
@@C1aYalC Yes!! That's exactly what I got. It works really well actually, but you can't charge your console while using it, and it only works with the joycons. I'm a controller snob so this looks great!
Fair that it bothered you personally. I personally found that adjusting the angle to counter how/where I was holding the controller helped balance everything out. But hey, if it’s not for you it’s not for you! Nothing wrong with that! I’d recommend the Fixture S1 over this any day anyway if you’ve got the slightly higher budget for it.
So I guess that will depend on the phone. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and with a case on it does slide in and grip pretty well. Without the case, no way. It would slide right out. So it seems like if your phone is wider, with a case, technically yes - but I don’t know if I would recommend it for that. For a phone, I would possibly try looking into the 8BitDo Gaming Clip for Xbox Controllers ($14.99) - smile.amazon.com/dp/B08DJ2KYG9 (non-affiliate)
@@C1aYalC I don't have xbox, so I won't consider buying an xbox controller; I only have Nintendo Switch. As for my device, I own a Galaxy Note 10+. So I guess it might fit in the grip, but I need to be completely sure before making the purchase. Thank you for your reply.
The pressure the grips put on the tablet certainly doesn’t feel like enough to break it. Holds it in place well with the rubber grips to help but there isn’t a TON of force/pressure being put on the tablet itself.
Just get to the fucking point holy shit

The Oivo clip is ok, but I cannot recommend the Fixture Gaming S1S enough. So much better in practically every way
I’ll have to check it out sometime. After MJR’s video on it and you talking about it, may be time to give it a look.
What makes the Fixture S10 so much better?
@@CupofTomorrow The way it holds both the system and controller are VASTLY superior in the S1

Does it fall lying down in bed ? Screen facing downwards?
It does not. The screw on the back tightens it in pretty good. That’s exactly why I got it and how I played it as soon as I opened it.
Thanks for the reply ! Getting mine today can't wait to try it
Hey would love to know what you think about it??

Worth the wait, great video Clay!
Thanks my guy!
I need something like this but with joy con.
Thank you for this great review! Made me buy this OIVO mount grip for my Switch Lite, now Monster Hunter with the pro controller won't be the same!
No problem! I think you’ll enjoy it! I did. Love the rotating joint to get that perfect angle!! Thanks for the kind words :)
Wow you really need to Pull the bottom plastic part for it to click, I fear it might break after a while...
I would definitely agree - while this thing does work and is pretty decent, after so many times doing that, it’s bound to break at some point.
Does it work with the powera controller?

Woah! This is super cool for a handheld main like me!
Heck yeah! And for $15 right now, it’s kind of a steal.
well hot damn, that looks even cooler than the gizmo I got for playing Ikaruga handheld vertically!
Ooooh! Did you get the Flip Grip? I've always wondered how those held up :D

Will it work for a powera controller?
What was the first game you were playing with the big controlers, it looked like fun hahah
Haha at 1:27? That's Moonlighter - one of my all time favorite indie titles!
I don't recommend the product, my main complaint is without a doubt how the weight of the screen is distributed and yes, it bothered me a lot

How about oled model
Yes, this would work since the OLED is the same height at the original version.
Can i put a phone on it
If your phone is wide enough, yeah. I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max and it does hold it
Does it work with smart phones? Or is the grip too big for these kind of devices?

Hi 😃
Does it get loose over time, or is it still tight/ok after months of use?
Thanks
Hey there! Before this video came out I had been using it for about a month and have been using it since - still tight and not loose!
*me who uses a wired pro controller* my brother would love it but I physically can not use it XD
What controller does it clip on
Title of the video my dude, it clips on the Pro Controller.
@@C1aYalC can it work on the after glow controller
Not 100% sure - I wouldn’t think so as it’s pretty form fitted to go around the Pro Controller.
