He was almost 100% absent fro mth early days of Islam and was elected Caliph as a technicality. If Uthman was not Caliph no one would even remember his name brother as he did absolutely nothing prior. But there is no evidence to support any other man apart from the Prophet was wiser and braver than Ali AS while still remaining true at heart. Also as Ahlul Bayth Ali AS was masoom, according to the Quran. Were the other caliphs Masoom ?
