As Larry Latham, he was part of the infamous "Tupelo Concession Stand Brawl" in June 1979 where and his partner Wayne Farris (aka The Honky Tonk Man) battled Jerry Lawler and Bill Dundee. The two teams battled all over the arena, even into the concession stand.

I remember watching him wrestle, I've been watching wrestling since 1966 when I was 8 years old. My grandparents were huge wrestling fans.

I don't know much about wrestling, but I will say there are so many tragedies in the industry. May he continue to rest peacefully and eternally. ❤️🙏🕊️
    Thank you my friend 😊

Wow. I'm surprised I've never heard of him. I was 11 years old in 87 and watched wraslin' with my dad. That's a neat story about his successes. That's sad about his death. May he RIP.

The "Moondog* name was inspired by Moondog Mayne, who was killed in a car wreck in the late '70's.

Lonnie Mayne. He first made it big in Portland and Salt Lake City as a heel, partnered and managed by Tough Tony Bourne, Maniac Matt Bourne’s dad, but later became a crowd favorite on Portland Wrestling. Tough Tony was also a realtor and did his mom’s grocery shopping in my old neighborhood back in the day. Used to see him all the time. Voice like a walking gravel pit but all the same very soft spoken
