More of these types of boats, please, Nick! I enjoy the faster boat reviews, but seeing these more ‘travel’ geared boats is also interesting!
More to come!
@@AQUAHOLIC - excellent. I look forward to those (along with all your vids). I have been hankering after an Azimut Magellano 53 ever since your tour! 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC Please consider doing an Arronet and other Finnish and Swedish manufacturers.
@@neilhaslam4068 Boy, yeah! Me, too---daydream of selling the house and cars!
Hi Nick. Loving all the clever details this small trawler has. As you say, well thought out. Grab rails are always a must. Got any larger trawlers to view? I remember you did show one, with that pestering steam train 🚂 tooting at inappropriate times, but my concentration was on that trawler. Anyway, again nice vlog, see yer again. 😊
This boat is right up my alley. I could easily put 3 adult children, the wife and I on this boat. Its just as much about the journey as the destination with this style.
@MrAbletospeak lmao
@MrAbletospeak About £430,000 ...
If I had to spend days in a confined space of a boat with 4 adults, there would be manslaughter.
The galley on this boat is absolutely perfect. I am a classically trained chef, and I would easily be able to serve six from that galley. What a brilliant layout, while remaining conscious of space constraints.
I love Beneteau yachts. Regardless of size or style, presented here or elsewhere, Beneteaus always make me smile.
The ONE drawer I wanted you to open (above the oven) and it was the only drawer you didn't open! Lovely boat though and another great vid, thankyou!
This was a fun one. I feel your enthusiasm really does the yacht justice when you go over all the little details. Hope the engineer appreciates it as much as we do!
"Pocket Rocket" = small boat HUGE engine. NO. "Pocket Yacht" = small boat HUGE design. YES. The other item of note, was another Nick Burnham quote - "...designed by people who actually go boating." YES ! This is what the boating / pleasure yachting world has been missing - boats designed through the experience of pleasure boating. Thanks, Beneteau and crew, for what you do. And THANK YOU too, Nick for traipsing around, gear in tow, just so you can bring us such a wonderful show. Way to go...
This is my favorite style of boat. Long distance and comfort.
I could see me spending a summer trawling up and down the coast.
Thank you for popping these videos out through lockdown. It brightens my day/week.
Glad you like them!
I lived in Foug, France and we had a canal near our home and a tunnel through the hillside. I can understand why you couldn’t cruise the canals if you had a bridge deck. Here in the US, we have what is called the Great Loop, again, a bridge deck boat might cause issues, as you are traveling through canals and some bridges. When I lived in France, a sailboat from the US, was waiting at a lock. They had an American flag, we ran to the boat shouting “hello”, they thought we were French kids and replied “bon jour”. We then told them we were Americans and they invited us onboard, to go through the next lock and tour their boat. They had sailed from Los Angeles, through the Panama Canal, up the east coast and then across the Atlantic. They were then touring Europe, using the canals and rivers. I always thought that would be a great way to see Europe or the US, a boat like this without the bridge deck would do well through Europe or the Great Loop.
You could do the Loop on this one with a caveat: you couldn't go through the downtown Chicago portion (17' bridge clearance) or the WESTERN Erie Canal (15'6" clearance). Actually the Swift Trawler 44 would be better, the mast on it can fold down giving you an air-draft of under 13'.
What a lovely and wonderful memory!
One of my favorite boats on your channel. It is such a well thought out family boat. Although "within reach" is still an overstatement for most people, it is an owner's boat.
I really appreciate how you hold your camera close to eye level so we can see the boat how you see it.
I have really come to like proper trawler style serious traveller boats
Me too
same here
Same!
Same here, thanks to Nick!
@@ShinyDiscoBallz Nordhavn's are great.
…I know this is a very shallow comment in light of the entirety of this boat, but one feature here is so exceptional to me, it is the curtain around the upper deck / drop down table into a sleeping bed area... it's always grateful to have some privacy while sleeping!! ...this simple thing (curtains around the potential accommodation) is NOT offered in any boat but this one that I've seen so far... This is so simple and so exceptional!! It's the little things - attention to detail - that attract people to purchase!!
My absolute favourite boats, the ST line. Also, as you enter the starboard side-deck from the cockpit, there is a door you can close, so the people in the cockpit are shielded from wind and spray while underway.
A truly smart design with boaters in mind. The sliding seat aft and the bed insert that hides away are intelligent.
Perfect for me and my boy
Great layout with the galley where it should be to serve both in and out doors
I've looked at many many boats much more expensive and this is just perfect for me
As much as I love this boat and would love to own one, it seems that the jump from the ST35 to the ST41 brings in the introduction of the twin engine configuration. Being able to cover large distances at displacements speeds would be something that is very important to me so the transition from a single engine to twin engine would be a significant increase in the running cots of the boat. I was born and raised in the south coat of England (Portsmouth) so no stranger to the water but I am now living in Limerick, Ireland on the river Shannon. Easy access to the west coat of Ireland is a real incentive for us but these waters are no joke. Still, we can all dream. Great video as always Nick. Thanks.
I think this is a great size for a trawler style, I could see myself trundling up and down the coast in this! Also, can I just mention that we have had an upload on your channel every 2-4 days! Brilliant Nick!
I love the slow cruise option because the journey and time on board is important too.
I would guess a water maker is optional,as you explained some folk might go faster but if you are away for a while the water maker would be a great addition to have and maybe another fridge and generator. Good design all round.
Oh wow, that flybridge is absolutely enormous! Great for parties.
I kept waiting for something that I wouldn't like, but then we got to the end and there wasn't anything. If I had a half million dollars to spend on a boat, this would most definitely be it. To be honest, if I had a million to spend on a boat, I'd still get this, and then use the rest to retire a bit earlier and enjoy the boat more. Absolutely excellent! Thanks for the tour, Nick!
My pleasure 🙂
Absolutely love your tours. You seem to answer all the questions an interested boater would ask, good show. These swift trawlers are something I'm very interested in as I've been a sailor most of my life and presently sail a Catalina 400, but at age 76, it's getting to be a bit of a workout to trim a large Genoa in a stiff breeze with manual winches, so a move to a trawler might make life a bit easier. Since I'm used to sailing, the slower speeds are of no consequence and in fact 10 knots is way faster than I'm accustomed to. My main sailing ethos is relatively short cruises to California's channel islands and local coastal cruising like a 2-8 day trip to local coastal spots, or Catalina Island with most trips less than 50 nautical miles, so a slow passage is fine by me, I love the boating as much as the destinations. Keep these great tours coming, they're both entertaining and informative. Thanks Nick!
I'm glad it was helpful :)
In total agreement Harry, the older my wife and I get the more attractive a trawler style boat is. Slow and steady and in maximum comfort beats flash and speed any day.
What a lovely little boat. Looking forward to seeing the ST50 - soon, I hope.
I second this!
Love the magic magnetic doors in the cabins. And the little ornamental anchors in the master cabin are a good touch, they could possibly serve as a helpful reminder to (if there are any) the absent-minded yachter.
That is the most affordable AND nice looking boat ive ever seen! i love the color layout of the social area!
Another family boat very nice and very practical
I always fall for the looks of the luxury yachts but these trawler style boats always charm my boating bones. Great work, lovely Beneteau, you make them even more attractive.
Love those magnetic door latches!
That’s a lovely little boat. Far more space than seems possible, it’s like the tardis
Definitely a clever boat with a lot of options to suit the individual needs of the owner. Thanks Nick!
No problem!
A beautiful boat Swift Trawler for an amazing boat ride on sea or canals through Europa. Easeful access in the engines compartment.
Perfect live-aboard...generato and a chest freezer arer a must and I would put some satellite phone and TV domes on it if I were going to stay on it for a summer out on the water. The foreword master is very big for a boat of this size. I love the look of the analog gauges on a modern boat. There's much less of a chance of losing communication with your engines with gauges tied by physical means as opposed to flat screens, sensors and microchips...better redundancy. A very smart long range cruiser,
A well laid out boat. I think that I'd use that third cabin as a utility/storage room as there are two dedicated cabins and that covertable sofa/double bed with the privacy curtain. In short a very nice little coastal cruiser.
Wow just wonderful Nick Sir... Mesmerizing boat.. Even you are looking great ..
These are the type (and size range) that I'm dreaming about. Longer range, comfortable ride, lots and LOTS of storage for stores and "stuff". I saw on another review of the Swift 41 that there is an option for the lower helm seat to swivel and drop down to face the dinette. These are the sort of things you would expect from a company that has been in the boatbuilding business since 1884!
This boat has the best cost performance in the whole swift trawler series of Beneteau. It has one more cabin than the ST47 with a shorter hull. As a long-term cruiser, it has what you need for proper domestic living, for example, ample storage, washer/dryer and a place for dish washer. The only drawback of this boat is the lack of freezing capacity but there's plenty of space to add more.
It might not be suited for blue water but it's definitely top-notched as a recreational boat.
This would be my dream boat to spend a summer on cruising down the french and spanish coasts!
I think this yacht makes the best use of all its space, more than any other yatch of this size. I like it!
(And I like the bow seat in front of the winch)
("bin bags", lol)
Love these trawler style boat.. what a great looking boat. Could quite easily spend a month on this.. pity my bank balance says no!.. lol..
Great video as always Nick.. 👍🛥️🛥️
Many thanks! 🙂
Best utilitarian boat yet and it’s not overpriced
I love the color of the woodwork through out the boat.
Another very smart smaller boat. Seriously functional with very reasonable comfort. Yes, a gen set & forward seating and a fly BBQ would be nice extras. Oh and the TV !
Yup, you're right. People that regularly go boating designed this boat. Very practical, very nice, very affordable.
Not normally a fan of trawler style boats but after casting my eyes over a Swift at my local marina recently and this video i am impressed, keep up the good work Nick
Nice looking boat lovely for a couple of weeks away forgetting about the world
Any time I see Nick opening an relatively small hatch and saying "this is neat." I assume it's going to be one of those tiny crew cabins haha.
Gotta love the door catches
I prefer having access to the engines from inside the vessel. You always seem to need to work on them in bad weather and this just makes it easier. I have not mentioned how impressive it is in how elegantly you show your sponsors Mr. Burnham! They are present yet not obtrusive. This allows those who can use their services access to their information whilst not interfering with the ability of the viewer to enjoy your content. Very classy indeed!
Thank you :)
After getting me hooked on boats and watching all your videos I come for the first time to a just uploaded one. Thanks again!
Glad you like them!
@@AQUAHOLIC I am loving every single one. Once again, thanks a million for showing us the boats that otherwise we wouldn't be able to and thank you for being so passionate about it!
Stunning boat. Love the attention to the doors with the strong magnets!!
Gotta say these trawlers always call to me. Thanks Nick
Never been dizzy on a boat tour before.
Love the light colored wood. This could be a family operated boat. I love a Trawler. It’s my favorite build. A remote control would be nice. Love to spend time on that baby. Pal you do such a good job showing the boats.
Hi Nick. Whenever you say little ship i know its going to be good. Clever use of magnets on the doors. Small enough to handle and plenty of room for 6-8 people. Great walkthrough tour as always. Thanks.
Lovely family boat, Good Design lots of storage and options, Good price Speed is not everything
Just love these Swift Trawlers. What a lovely boat full of real-life features. Bang-for-Buck one of the best boats you can buy, a true retirement plan. Sell the house, have a small apatment for the winter and spend the summer on the boat. Thank you for the video, Nick. Keep 'em coming. Would love to see a N76/78 from Nordhavn, if ever you stumble accross one of those...
So would I! 🙂
Love that you get these tours organized for us too!
This is a beautiful boat. Almost perfect for the price.
1 thing I would love to see in your videos is that when you are in the cabins or at least the master cabin, it would be great if you could turn the camera around and show us the headroom in the master cabin. Not just this video but all your videos.
Great job as always.
Some magic with Nick Potter, lol :)
Indeed, very cleverly thought out boat. I love that big steering wheel as well, it gives it such a classic look.
Always love some trawlers. The in-fill having their own hiding place really is just some wonderful detail on a wonderfully thoughtful boat. 430k really is quite sensible for this one.
Ps, was really starting to miss the magic shoes. Wonderful as always
Nice boat with excellent door latches, what a good idea !
That cockpit storage locker can easily be another bedroom as well. When my brother was at university he had friends who shared a flat and one of them, no joke, literally slept every night in a mattress-sized cupboard, on a mattress obviously.
Now that is lovely, I am a sucker for trawler style yachts and this must go into my top ten list. Thank you for such a great tour .
Thank you for watching it :)
@@AQUAHOLIC it’s a pleasure
Loved that! Never fancied a trawler but knowing how far you can get around the Med, it’s very appealing. Cheers Nick 👍🏼
nice looking boat, i really like the innovative use of space and the clever storage touches, definitely function over form 👍
very nice boat with all the upgrades you could want.
Good review .
That is a very nice little big boat.😎🇳🇿
This is a boat I have never seen before it is a boat I would consider in a few year’s for relaxation when I have the time on my hands. Splendid review; thank you.
Paul
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I like this, especially the separate shower. And at 7 knots it’ll have a 900 nm range, so a serious traveller. Plus you can also sport along at a jolly 17 knots when you like. I Must compare it to a Eling e4.
I briefly envisaged the first aquaholic fall on camera as that sofa was being pulled backwards towards the water 🤣 one day we will see it 🙏🏻.
Nice looking boat.
literally this boat is better and bigger than my home!!!
Love you Aquaholic!!! From Aussie😉
Another great video in the Aquaholic video library 📚, lucky me there quite a few I haven’t seen as yet 😊, thanks Nick 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was great! I much prefer the trawler style. This is what a boat should be. I'd love to see how the darker wood would look inside.
Love the design of these trawler style boats. Definitely for the more leisurely style of boating. No rushing, zzzz.
Lovely boat I could see my self on that
I love practiacality in boats!
A really nice boat. So much in it. Wouldn’t actually mind owning one of those. Plenary of space. Leisurely boating. No rush. Love the lighter wood. Great tour Nick.
Great review Nick, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful, we’re going to look at this one closer. Thanks for the little wave:)
great boat just what i want, just have to win the lottery, great work Nick
Good luck!
I like Trawlers, they are so functional boats
Now this is something special - this is an outstanding boat.
It ticks all the boxes. I definitely want one.
Cheers, Nick.
"Or you can put out these lovely bin bags...Bin bags? OK, let's try that again: Or these lovely bean bags! :-b -> Come for the review, stay for the bloopers :-) Excellent tour, Nick!
😀
Every time I think I’d want one of the bigger sport yachts you show me a trawler. The thought of spending a month on one of these just lowers my blood pressure. Thanks as alway Nick. You need a Patreon 😁
Lovely boat. Thanks Nick
Glad you enjoyed it
I do think the Swift Trawlers are amongst my favourites. I still hope to own the Swift 50 someday.
Great tour, as always Nick!!! 😉😁🇨🇦
Very smart set-up.
Thanks glad u got one on the channel! Honestly think this might be my next boat!! Saw the 35ft but it was too small.
What a great boat very well thought through, I can’t believe the amount of space and storage available a lot of boat for the money. Great review Nick 👍
Thank you! 🙂
Very nice boat, having the engine bay door on the interior is a nice touch if access is required during inclement weather. The kitchen equipment seems robust and large enough to provision for a extended voyage. The cabins and heads are very well placed where four or five passengers would be very comfortable. Without the flybridge it would be a very nice inland loop cruiser. Fast enough to run from bad weather but nice enough to run slow and comfortable the rest of the time.
Lovely. Love trawler type of boats. Great again Nick.
A very neat package
I would love to see Aquaholic do a multi part series on "Octopus". Only he could do it justice
Putting aside the excellence of Nicks videos, i really look forward to the first few seconds of every video when he walks towards the boat...and we experience a first person virtual nick perspective as the camera moves to and fro with each step as nick walks towards the swim platform. It’s the little things i guess.....or maybe i am a weirdo....who knows?
I find it best not to ask! 😄
One of your best reviews ever I believe... you worked hard for this one... and It was convincing... nice boat for that money...
would like some more specs from you about consumption....and other costs...
thanks, from Spain
Glad you liked it!
This boat looks perfect! It's just me and my wife and our daughter, and it's still got extra room for a couple of guests!! Great video for my birthday today! Thanks for the present, Nick. LOL Great job as usual!!!
Happy birthday!
@@AQUAHOLIC Thanks a lot, Nick! That means a lot coming from one of my favorite RUclipsrs!!!
