I love the fact that you have very economical displacement speed cruising but can avoid shipping or get out the way of bad weather if you need to. Best of both worlds
Trawlers are by far my favorite type of boat, and the only ones I'd consider buying. Thank you for reviewing this one and, please, have a few more on the channel whenever possible.
This is a yacht for someone, who is into boating and not into posing at the harbour. But to be honest.... this is the first video, where I had expected more space in the cabins on the boat.
Real boaters know the quality of this boat. Built like crap and only the styling is trawler. If it were a real trawler, it would be more reliable, and have things that are needed for long distance cruising
I think it's awesome that Nick covers these 'smaller' boats. He is as thorough in showing them as he is with the superyachts, and he gives you a good idea of what to expect if you purchased a boat that a normal person may actually be able to afford! I also like the little asides he puts in - such as the comment about the catamaran. Great job...and thank you!
I love trawlers, but it seems to me that for a given length they tend to have fewer cabins. But I do absolutely love the relaxed atmosphere of them, and the laid-back pace. Of course the insane range is a nice plus, too. Torn between a trawler and a power catamaran, for my favorite. But as usual, awesome video, and great tour, from my favorite RUclips channel!
I think what makes me laugh the most is that you always say "cool" after you show us the engine room. Your so detailed about everything else with the beauty, look at those lines, and the detail, and the engines get a cool. As a former aircraft mechanic and a retired mechanic for the US Army, I total appreciate the engine room. Love how you show everything and its place. That stuff is as important to the boat as everything else, and to me it is a beautiful if not more at times than the rest of the boat. But I love how you finish the engine room tour with your signature "cool". Thanks for the videos..
I am so conflicted, on the one hand I love the luxury yachts that make me feel relaxed and in a holiday mood. On the other hand I feel compelled to go on voyages and exploring with these trawler/explorers. Must be on account of you just selling the experience for me. Good job on this one again, thank you.
I love this channel. Its genius is that it's the same video every week, except that the position of the galley changes from time to time. Still, I never get bored of it.
Definitely the kind of boat for a matured, well experienced sailor. Would be great fun to do an extended sea trial in really bad weather too! Thanks for the tour, Nick!
THIS is the boat I’m searching for:) I love a boat big enough to cruise for weeks at a time yet compact enough to skipper solo if desired. great content as always! Keep it up!
Another great video by a boat lover about boats. The trawlers look so inviting and work they way I learned boat are supposed to work when I was young. Like going home.
Thank you Nick for this review. The ST 44 is my apsolutly dream boat. I like the fact, that you can cruise at about 18-20kn, or cruise with 6-8kn with a fuel consumption like I now have on a 7 meter boat 😀👍
I love trawlers. This is a fabulous price for a 5 year old yacht. Little work on the teak, a few upgrades/additions and she will be perfect. Fair winds and calm seas Nick!
Thanks Nick, another excellent tour and this time you’ve chosen to show us around my favourite craft. Just love this range, think Beneteau have got it absolutely right 👍
I LIKE the sturdiness of a trawler style yacht. My 'yachting dream' was to cruise the coast of Turkey and Greece...maybe even in winter...with welcome stays in ports along the way.
OMG! It's always been Fleming for me (and still is really but 'I will never afford one) but ths Beneteau is stunning. I love it. No Portuguese bridge but I could live with that. I can't get over the price 300k for a 6 year old little ship is maddening!
Thanks to Aquaholic I got that new hobby to take my bike and ride to nearby harbours looking for boats chatting with owners. As I’m only 56 thats not old enough for a trawler but great as an retirement plan and relevant for the weather and conditions in my country
As always great video with a great yacht. thank you so much sir for giving us the chance to see and know more about these great yachts. Your efforts are so soooooo appreciated.❤️
As always, Nick: great video. Love the "hello sailor" pillow on the bed... Have been interested in the Swift Trawlers for a while now and I think, this may just be my new favorite boat! As a retirement plan, this could even work out: sell the house and cars, downsize to a small flat and spend the bulk of your time on your ship. What a live! At the going rate, there is even some spare cash to upgrade to propper Miele equipment.
What a superb no nonsense vessel, a truly 'liveable' proposition and this one looks to be in excellent condition. Really love the spacious flybridge and overall layout. An impressive proposition for the right buyer. Great review Nick.
Thanks Nick, another great video and this is a great example of what looks to be a very enjoyable and practical trawler yacht, thats good value for money.
Hi Nick. A great little pocket yacht. Trawler for trolling not for speed with larger tanks for longer range. Slim hull design. Value for the money. Great video thanks
Excellent! The mast lowered really allows for entry into small harbours. A must in the Great Lakes and canals here in North America. Inclusion of minimum height would be a bonus, Nick.
Thank you for thinking of me,when you mentioned 'room for folding bicycles'.Come on Lottery ! I'd fly over next week for this.Just have to add a grill upstairs and a chest freezer in a hold.
Trawler-style and catamarans are my favorite because of how they're used. I think you just made my weekend! The only thing with this one, and it may be because I'm in the US (originally from Europe) but that fridge won't do for even a week out...
Very nice yacht! made for going anywhere at any time. and not the typical floating sundeck I like the interior and the used materials, Basic+ and functional and easy to maintain.
Just about can see this brilliant edition in the blazing sun off the coast of Pisa. But I had to double check the price of this Beneteau - subject to a positive survey. For me this is one of the best priced yachts on this channel! #sharing
I had a 34 swift trawler a few years ago hands down one of the best boats I have ever owned or been on. great for a day out or a week or two to away. Had to sell sadly as circumstances changed but definitely something to think about if you want to get into boating
Great vid nick, really enjoyed it. I like these trawler style yachts, good value for the money. At first I thought that boom was for a sail...got so excited seeing that. Look forward to your next instalment.
Trawler yachts are great. That’s what I’m looking at for the future... explore the San Juan islands and the Pacific Northwest United States. My process now is to figure out what make, size, features, etc. Thanks for featuring this!
Another gem Mr. Burnham! I prefer trawler type yachts as the practicality and strength appeal to me. If it is what the professional mariners use it might be a good choice. I really like the vessels that can travel thousands of kilometers rather than three hundred though. Great video!
Very nice thanks, I've spent a lot of imaginary money on building my own marina so keep em coming, I've plenty more room. 😁 I've had to purchase more thumbs up too 👍
Lovely, lovely boat. Needs more cold storage. And for what I want, more fuel capacity. I really like the trawler yachts. This one is set up as more of a coastal cruiser, but that’s typical of these “swift trawlers” still make a good live aboard. Another top quality Aquaholic Tour!
Almost ideal.... personally, I would want the same hull and forward layout, without the rear cockpit and an aft master with an en-suite... with those engines mid mounted, I see a lot of wasted potential for accommodation..... but I am a big fan of the venerable Moonraker 36..... I’m off to get some more scratch cards 🙂
Great video you really get a good perspective in these reviews. I would love to see a review on the aquador 35 st really popular in Scandinavia and its surly is a quality boat!
The is the first time I feel you missed some stuff Nick. First, on the starboard side deck, there is a door on the aft end you can close, so spraywater won't fly into the cockpit during your cruise. And the helm seat can flip forward, or at least upward, to give some more couter space. The hinges and the latch holding it are clearly visible. Apart from that, it's a great tour anyway, as yours usually are.
Great tour as always Nick, thank you! I was looking on Ancaster's website and they have a used Prestige 36 for sale in Plymouth. It looks like it would make for a very interesting Aquaholic tour (hint hint).
I love the fact that you have very economical displacement speed cruising but can avoid shipping or get out the way of bad weather if you need to. Best of both worlds

Correct answer. It goes Trawlers > Sailing Catamarans > Everything else.
I'm having a tough time getting my wife to see it that way but see it she will.
@@brook316 motor cats= sailing cats= trawlers> everything else
OK, so you've just introduced me to my absolute dream - yeah cheers for breaking my heart Nick! :)
SteveMarsh sell house buy boat, live on boat
Emiel Kramer I’m actually in the process of doing just that, but I rent rather than own a house so the savings don’t quite stretch that far
@@emielkramer4461 This boat's still pretty pricey tho, especially with mooring and upkeep costs
Join the club.
Tarkan Kettles yes but you have those costs with every yacht
This is a yacht for someone, who is into boating and not into posing at the harbour. But to be honest.... this is the first video, where I had expected more space in the cabins on the boat.
The fridge n storage is so small for long distance or even a few days of boating. Lmao.
Real boaters know the quality of this boat. Built like crap and only the styling is trawler. If it were a real trawler, it would be more reliable, and have things that are needed for long distance cruising
Agreed!
There's no way you could do long distance trawling on this boat without making multiple stops for provisions.
Get a Swift Trawler 50 from Benetau. That one is actually pretty decent space whise.
Me, when I see that aquaholic has uploaded a new video, "Yeeeeeeeeees"!!!!!!!!!!
I think it's awesome that Nick covers these 'smaller' boats. @Richard Ball still a bit above my budget
Nothing brightens my morning more than a new Aquaholic video. Love these trawler style boats.
Thanks!
Delivered as promised a few weeks ago. Thanks. The ST50 is probably my dream boat, but the 44 is a reasonable shout.
I love this channel. Its genius is that it's the same video every week, except that the position of the galley changes from time to time. Still, I never get bored of it.

I LIKE the sturdiness of a trawler style yacht. My 'yachting dream' was to cruise the coast of Turkey and Greece...maybe even in winter...with welcome stays in ports along the way.
I do like the trawler style yachts, the idea of a gentle cruise in comfort and the range to actually go somewhere just suits me.
OMG! It's always been Fleming for me (and still is really but 'I will never afford one) but ths Beneteau is stunning. I love it. No Portuguese bridge but I could live with that. I can't get over the price 300k for a 6 year old little ship is maddening!

That transition to the engine room is one of your best cuts yet. So much subtle flavoring to an already fantastic series of yacht tours :)
This is a great boat, proper live onboard. I'm smitten with this one. Cheers Nick
Glad you enjoyed it
As always great video with a great yacht. thank you so much sir for giving us the chance to see and know more about these great yachts. Your efforts are so soooooo appreciated.❤️
I find myself respecting and enjoying trawler yachts more and more. Lovely tour as always.

Like the fact the kitchen is by the cockpit. A quick bacon sandwich on an overnighter always a thing to be welcomed! Nice boat, good price too.

I have always liked trawler yachts, purely for the no faff , jump onboard and go off for as long as you like.
Thanks Nick, another smashing boat.
Nice boat. Incredible views

Thanks! 👍
