Great work, with perfect fitting dovetails! Looks like you have a well0equipped shop, too, and there is some hand work involved, apart from the dovetails.
My friend… if your words are half as inspiring or deliberate as your craftsmanship and camerawork… I’d consider you a triple threat 😃 please show us more!
Very inspiring! There was a surprising amount of overlap between what you have and use compared to my own little shop. I am hoping to get to the point of similar results. Great work sir!
Very nicely done, especially for your first RUclips video. I just made two similar stools for my nephews but with box joints instead of dovetails and I gotta say, those just give it that extra touch of classiness. Your work reminds me of pedula studios and kobeomsuk here on YT. I'm certain you'll do well and your videos will improve greatly over time given the extent of the quality already. Subscribed my dude! Keep up the good work!
Wow that is high praise. I am a big fan of both Pedulla and Kobeomsuk. Thank you so much! Dovetails always add a little something, don't they? If something's worth building, it's worth building nice.
@@treasurewoodcraft it’s really beautiful. I don’t think it looks like Sapele. Sapele is pink and usually has stripes, similar to African Mahogany. I think this looks a lot like teak, maybe African teak (Afromasia). In that case it would be extra fancy.
Dear friend: Excellent video, is it possible for you to show during the video some other wood projects that you would build later? I think you would create some expectations among your followers geetings
@@treasurewoodcraft Hello, I try to say that at the end of your video you could present the next wood project that you are going to build in the next video.
Oh okay. This is my first build video, but once I post more, I'll definitely do that. In the meantime, I'll be posting some photos of older stuff over on Instagram.
O ye, who dares approach the porcelain throne, assume your rightful position and perch your feet atop the royal stool. This elevated stance shall grant thee a grace and ease hitherto unforeseen as thou commence thy royal activities.
Ahh I see. What you're hearing there is my neighbours having a party while I glue up. Not sure who was having more fun to be honest. I figured I'd rather keep the sounds of my work rather than silence or some obnoxious music. I appreciate the feedback though, thanks Tim!

Satisfying

Not quite sure I'm a triple threat, but thank you! Maybe a single threat. I feel like I've done my 10,000 hours of sanding already...
That is just stunning in it's simplicity and detail... You make the work and the product look effortless!
A balance between simplicity and detail is what I strive for, so this means a lot. Thank you!
👍👍
Just had this channel suggested to me. Looks like the algorithm is bringing lots of people in. Subscribed and can't wait to watch more
It's already blown past any expectations I had for my first video. Glad you enjoyed mate, thanks for the sub!
Stunning.
Simple, and elegant, nice
I really enjoy hearing your tools. Subbed.
So beautiful piece of furniture, I hope your next videos will be the equal or higher level
Greetings from Chile
Gracias! I've still got so much to learn, but I'll do my best to keep the quality rolling.
Nice workmanship sir… I like it!
Hello,
Très joli travail, je le trouve magnifique.
En plus la vidéo est vraiment de qualité. Bravo
Merci beaucoup!
Great craftsmanship, great video ... waiting for more!
Cheers mate, more to come… some day.

Get in there and make some dust! Thanks Jordan, I’m glad you enjoyed.
I enjoyed that a lot. Your style of video making made it easy and pleasurable to watch. Subbed 👍🏼
Nice build. Turned out great. I'm not a fan of the marking gage lines on a finished project but that's just me. Very nice dovetails.
Thank you! I thought the same once I finished it. Still pretty new to dovetails so I might try hiding the line next time.
Very very creative
Gorgeous!
Cheers mate!
Love the design and the videography, keep it up.
quality work and quality filming. sub!
You put out a great product , wish you even more success 🎉
Thanks a lot mate. Hope you stick around for my future videos!
Excellent work 👏👏👏💯
clean!!
Beautiful!!
Nice work! I made one of these from some scrap plywood. Works as intended but looks like…. well, you know.
Cheers mate. If it works, it works!
Looks like I'm your second commenter ever. Keep uploading. It'll be worth it.
Thank you! Hope to see you on the next one.
Good work bro 👍👍
If this is your first video I can't wait for the ones in the future.
Thanks mate! I’m just as excited as you are.
Amazing work, dude! Really beautiful stood stool! 😃
I just subscribed!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks so much mate! Same to you and yours.
What’s the clear Perspex thing around 2:10, an angled saw-guide? And out of interest what wood did you use here?
Nice vid, keep ‘em coming!
That would be the Katz Moses dovetail jig! Pretty handy, especially with a spineless saw. Unfortunately I couldn’t identify the wood.
Update: I believe it's Sapele
Nice work just wondering about space left between on top is that just a desighn feature
Purely a design choice, just to break it up and make more visually interesting.

Very nice video, design and work!!!! What finish you use? Just curiosity.
Cheers mate, glad you liked it. I finished with Osmo Polyx.
Beautiful! Is that mahogany?
Cheers Terri! I salvaged the wood from a pile destined for the fire pit. I wasn’t able to identify it, but let’s just say it was something fancy. 😉
Update: I believe it’s Sapele

A very interesting video 👍👍💯💯🔔🔔🔔
это только кажется просто...👍
beautiful !!.
what is your T-bevel?
Cheers mate. It’s from a company called Johnson. Nothing fancy, works well enough for me though.
What is the table saw that you are using?
Hare and Forbes ST-254PT 👍
Bravo artigiano vecchia scuola
I appreciate that, thank you!

Thanks José! I'm not sure I understand what you mean though.

What on earth is a toilet stool? 61 years and counting, and I’ve never heard of one of those.
It promotes a person’s preferred position for pleasurable pooping. Pretty practical!
Never heard of the squaty potty? Lol😂. I bought it for a gag gift for a Christmas present. People went nuts over it. I found it by accident.
I don't get how you crap on it?
O ye, who dares approach the porcelain throne, assume your rightful position and perch your feet atop the royal stool. This elevated stance shall grant thee a grace and ease hitherto unforeseen as thou commence thy royal activities.
Nice work and video except I didn't like some of the sound overlays.
Thanks Tim! Care to elaborate on the sounds?
@@treasurewoodcraft timestamp 5:49 is one example.

A toilet stool is a piece of furniture one stands when you want to throw crap a considerable distance, say at an annoying politician .
🤣😂🤣😂 how to make toilet stools 🤣😂🤣😂
Toilet stool? Ha ha ha.
Squatty Potty was already taken...
