If they don't win anything again this season, Arteta will have a lot of explaining to do. A LOT. if anyone has any complaints about watching a title race get closed up with terror-ball, take it up with PGMOL. They're the ones forcing Arsenal's hand to play defensively with 10 men twice in 5 games, due to extremely controversial and inconsistent decisions. You've got to be several pints deep to start bringing up Arsenal stats for the 'season', when 5 games have been played with the toughest fixture run of any team so far, and they've been sabotaged by refs for 2 of those.

People forget that when Conte came in he was playing expansive football with Chelsea and losing. He got spanked by Arsenal 3-0 and then changed everything.
We spent years under Wenger where we won nothing playing the best football in the league only to be told by everyone we were too soft, not pragmatic enough, didn't utilise the dark arts of the game, get bullied, men vs boys etc etc etc
We have a team now that is adaptable and can flex between dominating possession, counter attacking, high press or sitting in defensively. We can go long, route one old school, or on the ground and be pateint in build up. I'm old enough to remeber George Graham's Arsenal and having a formidable defence was the foundation of that team and I remember early Wenger powerful, elegant and punishing - This team combines these two ideas and uses them at the right time. No one ever gave us a medal for playing the best football in the league and if we did that yesterday we would've been cooked.
Everyone forgetting we were in the lead, we went down to ten men and the critics want us to play like Pep's Barcelona for 45 mins - Ridiculous.
We have them rattled and I can't wait for the game at the Emirates it's just a shame that that could be the last time we go to the Etihad for a while unless we get them in the FA Cup lets see how humble they are going away to Preston.

Abbi doesn’t realizes that out of 5 games this season we played Villa, Spurs and Cheaty away. Two out of 5 games were played with 10 men for about 90 mins total playtime. Of course the attacking stats are not going to look that great. Let’s just wait and see what happens in the next 10 games and how these stats improve!
