    You've come a long way Crystal! I have a doll with 3 faces and I think this baby bonnet will cover the faces that need to be covered. I made a regular hat and didn't do the job. Of course! So glad I checked out your videos starting with the oldest. Excited!

    Your tutorial was amazing. It is the easiest one I have seen. And, I love that everything doesn't have to be absolutely "perfect". Thank you so much.

    Hi, thanks for this tutorial,I make clothes for angel babies and was able to make this smaller by using a smaller hook and make the beginning circle wth less rounds, so I'm sure it is possible to resize either way. Very pretty .

      How did you make it bigger?

    • @cottoncritter
      @cottoncritter 10 лет назад

      Rhonda Hearn (just in case the other person doesn't respond) I decided to try to make an adult version of this bonnet too and I'm actually working on it right now and almost finished. I'm using a bigger hook (size J/10 - 6.00MM Boye brand) and you could probably use most any yarn you want, but I'm using a more thick puffy yarn for mine. It's coming out well so far! Comes down a smidge past my ears so I probably should've made it longer in that way, but otherwise I've reached like 11 rows of shells so far and I'm about to make 2 more and see how it looks on me. :)

    Thank you so much for making this video tutorial! :) It was very helpful! I made one big enough for my 22 year old head (used a size J hook and did 12 rows of shells) in these past few hours (took breaks). I'll wear it as part of my primitive country/prairie costume tomorrow for Halloween, as well as the local "Victorian Stroll" in my city in December! I'm sure I'll wear it a lot daily too~

      Going thru baby bonnet tutorials and saw your reply a little late but thank you just the same. I've learned so much from the way you teach , especially like it when you give the stitch count and the way you explain every step by step instructions is sooooo helpful. Love your husband , you both complement each other very well. You are so blessed that he supports you in your hobby business. 😊😚😘
