Just, recently Gordon Lightfoot has passed away.

In a musty old hall in Detroit they prayed
    In the maritime sailors' cathedral
The church bell chimed 'til it rang twenty-nine times
For each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early

Back in 1975,and I was 18 years old and I graduated from high school. I moved out of my parents house and went on my own. I got a full time job at the Eastland Mall in Harper Woods.
And, when November 10,1975, and I remember when the Edmund Fitzgerald sank. When, the Arthur M.Anderson was following the Edmund Fitzgerald and she was the last Freighter to have contact with the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Whenever, the Arthur M.Anderson should retire and the Arthur M.Anderson should be a,Museum. The Arthur M.Anderson is a Floating Museum. 7:15

Loved the song sung by the late Gordon Lightfoot about the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald.

Never really knew about the SS Edmund Fitzgerald or how it sank. When Gordon Lightfoot sang this haunting song about it's tragic end. Thank you for your insight into what happened.

Great video. Correction from 1:13 into video: McSoreley was not on the maiden voyage. He was not the first Captain of the ship. In fact, he did not assume command of her until 1972. He and Armogast did both go down with the ship.

I’m confused as to why you did this video in February rather than in November to let folks know the anniversary of the date is coming up, or help people relate to this more as the weather in November will be like what these sailors and the families left behind experienced. If you’re in Detroit, you can hear the church bells ring for each life lost.
