Im 50/50 here, on one hand yes the engine is one key part of a jaguar etype and by removing it its like removing the noise and feel of what makes a jaguar etype so lovable to petrol heads. But on the other hand petrol is a fonite sorce and we are practically at the end of pertrol as a fuel, by rhe time the younger generation are able to afford an etype petrol will be pritty muvh gone or even ruled out by law. Thefore i think what you have done here is tough but fair and indeed brilliant. I agree with the work done here and you couod even argue that the engineering from the time was nothing special either, i belive that the gear box was from the 40s and was difficult to operate. But for those who disagree with the idea of modifying an etype then i fully respect that opinion and support the idea of restoring an etype to its former glory aswell. I still have got to say that what you have done there is a brilliant job though.
Absolutely superb, faster, more refined, more reliable and therefore will get used and enjoyed more often. And the original engine stank up the neighborhood with smoke, my uncle had one... it was awful. A+ job thank you for the video.
It is as if these beauties were made for ev conversion. Lots of space for batteries cables etc. And I also love combustion engines but it's all advantages when converted.
Ezch to there own, but what a awfull thing to do to a great classic car like this, sure its clever but not for me it should sound like the car it is not a sewing machine
beautiful job. beautiful car. i'll miss the sound but could daily drive this.
Thank you for your comments Jesse 😊

I want to hear the triple carb straight 6 jag engine

Why ruin an e-type?
how to spoil a great icon
