Read the article attached to this story - he found the images the night before he turned her in because he had a gut feeling something was up. He could have thought cheating, he could have thought something else. He went to the police at 10 am the next day apparently “storming”. He did not know.

I read the article and it is heartbreaking. He went into the police station first thing in the morning-he was shaking and visibly distraught as he had discovered all the evidence the night before. They arrested her later that day. I hope single parents see this and remember just bc you think your new lover is fantastic that does not mean you should 1) move them in and 2) let them around your kids wo your supervision. Idc if they claim to be homeless, your babies safety is always first.

Even more frightening is that she may not have been caught if she didn’t record her crimes. Just because there’s no video proof doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Parents must be vigilant to watch after their children and have open conversations about taboo and uncomfortable things. We have to believe little ones when they say things that might seem off the wall or unbelievable. It’s a scary thing to reckon with but children need their adults to advocate for and protect them. Just heartbreaking but it’s a reality that happens too often 😢

I was molested as a child. So I’m very open with my kids about not letting anyone touch them inappropriately. I began that conversation as soon as they could understand and communicate. Often times kids don’t know and that’s where the danger is. Especially if is happening from a person with authority over them, parents, doctors, teachers etc.

You know what's really messed up? She might spend 2-3 years in jail and get six months of probation, then the cop will no longer care. There's a girl who lives in my apartment complex who showed three little kids she was babysitting nude photos of her ex-boyfriend, and she hasn't seen a day in jail for it yet. She got busted in 2020 for it, and she only just went to court for it last June. She was even dating a guy who is a convicted child molester, and he was living in her apartment for free until the manager found out. Our laws need to change.

I’m just grateful this dad took action instead of allowing it to continue to happen. Too many parents turn a blind eye to this.
Most dads act, either legally or violently. Not long ago there was a UFC fighter who shot one who mol est ed his son & also there was a dad who deleted his child r pist. Moms though, many of them are allowing things to happen to their children for years until other people finding out or the children ended up dead by their boyfriends/new husbands. These moms put their biological pleasures over their childrens life.
Exactly, because they get so desperate for love and affection, that they either know the truth and do nothing because they don’t want to be alone, or they just refuse to believe it, smdh, people who allow that to happen to their child, I don’t even call them parents, because parents are suppose to protect their children.
My mom put me in the room of my abuser because she didn't want me to tell my dad (stepdad but he stepped up and will ALWAYS be my dad) what I told her. It was punishment for saying anything.

@@systemofcolorfulpills thank you! I really appreciate it. It's because of therapy that I am able to accept the role she played in what happened and I have been able to move on. I started therapy when I got pregnant for my first child because I was afraid that I would be over protective and be a helicopter parent. If it wasn't for my kids, I don't know if I would be the person I am today. They definitely made me better.
So many people who have no business being around small children are sadly, around small children. She needs a long jail sentence and never be allowed to apply for a care job where children are involved.

My husband served on a federal jury where a Mom mailed photos to her husband in prison of her molesting their child with a turkey baster. The courthouse was about 40 miles from our home and I could always tell he had cried coming home. People like this are disgusting and my heart goes out to the children.

Oh my God. He was probably looking through her phone to see if she is faithful and found the most heartbreaking photos / videos. I'm shocked he didn't attack her and just left and called police. Praying for the father and little girl 😢
He acted 100% correctly
If he had attacked her, it could easily be spun by her attorney as a physically abusive relationship and that she may have been "forced" to take the pictures by him. I'm sure it was difficult for him but his method ensured that she would be 100% accountable for her actions and hopefully a speedy trial.

Trust NOBODY when it comes to your children. Talk to your children. Tell them that adults shouldn't ask them to keep secrets. Tell them where people should not be touching and tell them again and often. Tell them it's not ok to change or go to the bathroom with someone, especially an adult. Respect your children's boundaries. If they don't want to be touched, even in an innocent way, don't touch them. Don't force them to hug and kiss relatives. Teach them how to respectively say no thank you.
I can't imagine this guy had a suspicion that she abuses his daughter and films it. I have a feeling he was snooping and found something he never expected. I don't know if she would have been in one piece in order to call the police

I went through this from when I was 4 to 6 years old. It was the teenager babysitter that used to threaten me with a kitchen knife to my neck while stuffing me up with objects or her fingers almost on a daily basis while she touched herself and claimed she would kill my parents in their sleep or to do the same as me to my other 3 younger siblings if I said anything. I'm 36 and after crack, jail time and the streets, I'm thankfully sober for 4 years now. One day at the time. God bless ❤

Perfect example of why you don't have your minor children around just anybody. My husband and I separated when my son was 7 years old and I stayed single until he finished high school because my child being safe was more important than my dating life.

I dated a woman with two daughters 10 years ago. At the beginning of our relationship she never left her daughters around me alone. I got kinda offended but never said anything. It took months and really getting to know me till she felt comfortable with leaving them alone with me. I think every parent should do the same and never leave your kids alone with someone who u just met

I was sexually molested by a family member when I was 4 or 5..I can’t remember and many years have passed but I still have many issues. I’ve gone to counseling for a long time but I have cPTSD and I will never forget what happened. I do know those people cannot be rehabilitated. My heart breaks for that little girl 💔🙏🙏
