1:35 My grandmother used to work at that bank (it was called Union Bank, back then), and they had heating elements buried under the sidewalks in front of the bank, to melt all the snow and ice.
Brrrr! Lol...thanks for the nice tour--I hope you warmed up! :) I love Helena - we stopped on our way to Glacier once but only saw a little of the town near the capitol building. It was nice to see more!
wow, snow. I love the snow. Thanks for taking me in this new experience tour. This is no snow in Vietnam in 4 seasons. Just found your channel. Full watched and supported. Stay connected, my friend
Do you get a decent amount of sunshine in the winter? I live in northern Idaho and gray days hit about October, but when I lived in SE Idaho we had a lot of sunny days in the winter.
It varies by city but this link will hopefully help you compare with what you are used to. ;p www.currentresults.com/Weather/Montana/annual-days-of-sunshine.php
According to the monthly averages (that google brings up) the two areas are fairly similar. But....it's Montana so who knows ;p The weather here changes on a dime.
@@RadiantRealty I have read in many reviews and watched many videos that depict The Valley being a little warmer because of the mountain range to the East. Its stated these Mountains blocks most of the cold fronts that come down from Canada and the Yukon area. This gives me the impression that most of the cold fronts that do run South run along that mountain ridge. I think it's called Glacier National Park or Glacier Mountains.
@@jaysindix that is true for sure. The valley is usually quite protected which is so nice! :) This particular weekend the valley probably had about 3-5 inches of snow while Helena and most of Montana had about 12-18 inches I believe. A notable difference!
You were not kidding when you said snow storm caught you guy's off guard..thanks for posting video of my soon to be new home town..😁
This snowfall is in early October. I remember getting this much snow in Helena in early September... when it was still Summer!
We’ll be moving near the beautiful area and strolling around the walking mall soon❣️. Beautiful... thanks❣️

week before last doing a couple walks. Much less snow that day. Great tour. Stay safe. -H
Haha, I bet your walks were a bit warmer then ;p Did you visit the hot springs during your stay?

Very cozy town and love the hills, very unique for the bigger cities in MT.

Isn't Helena on average 20-30 degrees colder that the Falthead County area?

you should go over to the va and say to the vets
business looks dead.
It’s a Sunday... many honorable businesses close on Sunday!!!
It was also early am so even if they were going to open many of them would not have been yet.
