- Are you wondering if Montana living is right for you? Join along in my Flathead County - Northwestern Montana moving guide as we continue with the town of Whitefish, Montana.
Whitefish Montana surpassed 8,500 residents in 2020 growing over 35% in the last decade. It’s easy to see why many are drawn to this quaint town. Whitefish boasts beautiful hiking and cross country ski trails, stunning lakes and beaches, shopping, dining, fishing, art galleries, and more. Additionally Whitefish Mountain Resort provides residents with epic skiing and snowboarding in the Winter along with mountain biking, zip lines, an aerial adventure park, summit restaurant, and alpine slide in the Summer. In this city moving guide I will discuss housing costs, schools, recreation, amenities, and pros and cons of choosing Whitefish over other cities in Flathead County.

For golf in Kalispell we have Northern Pines, Buffalo Hill, and Village Greens. I’m not sure about tennis. The Summit probably has courts and teams. I would start there.

Why November? That's not the typical time to visit, but it will definitely be a more affordable stay.

My wife and I are leaving PA on Thanksgiving day to head to Whitefish. It's just the time we have off, so it's when we can go. We are scouting the place as we hope to move to the area Spring of 2022 at the latest.

That’s probably relative to where you are now. I don’t think so, but you should compare rainfall in your current hometown to the rainfall in Whitefish for a better gauge. 🌧 www.bestplaces.net/climate/city/montana/whitefish
I will be visiting in late November, are there many things to do then?
Shopping, dining, Conrad mansion in Kalispell, lower elevation hikes, Lake McDonald in Glacier for photos, spas, hot tub, books by a fireplace. 😜

@@ProWrestlingNoahNetwork it will probably be open to Lake McDonald Lodge. Possibly to Avalanche Lake???? It typically stays fully open until mid-October. But, it's all weather dependent. ;p
