This is so cute! It called for me to use a more expensive fabric as well as good interlining to support its shape ...

This has been a big help. thank you. My biggest question here is I prefer to make a lolita skirt using rectangles instead of the circle method in order to save on fabric. Will I lose a large amount of fullness using straight rectangles instead of the circle method? I am prepared to have a petticoat.

I would recommend using better quality or less shiny ribbon for the bows, and adding in more lace rather than just having the solid black and also have some trim for the edges that are just plain hem, especially at the front here. although very good sewing skills, i would also like to see the dresses a little longer

Melody York looking at her other videos, she made a complete dress with bows and accessories with only 1.5 yards, so i would think that this one would be the whole dress and addons with 3.5 yeards

+ZeppieDragon straight sew the fabric you want to make as a ruffle then do not seal at the end, pull the threads and it will create a ruffle, if it's a little confusing you can search it in youtube and see what I mean ^_^
