funny that he mentioned "maybe try to stay healthy while doing it" because one thing i noticed about rick prime is he's exceptionally focused. if i had to guess rick prime is probably 100% sober all the time, and that's his strength.
Sobriety is about a lot more than simply abstinence, I bet your optimal self has a million fold more potential than you even realize my friend. Definitely go to AA, get a sponsor, and work a program. I wish I could show you yourself in a year, 5 years, a decade.
@James Furey i've been there before yo for 2 years i got blackout drunk pretty much every night and even after i got into a car crash i thought i learned my lesson but ended up relapsing again. i've been sober for 3 years now and to be honest i didn't quit cold turkey i started doing kratom in place of alcohol but then after i was clean off the booze i was able to cut back on kratom a lot easier than i could with the alcohol because alcohol is the most addictive drug to me and alcoholism runs in my family.
To the people commenting here about their problem with alcoholism, I just want to say you guys are strong and I believe in you. Even starting on a journey to get rid of a disease like this is a hard step that a lot of people don't have the strength to take, and you guys have proven yourselves to be strong many times already. Keep going, I know you can do it. If you ever need help and you feel like you're going to relapse, remember this and remember there is a person here that believes in you. And if you do relapse, remember that not all roads are straight, sometimes you can face a few bumps, but you can always find your way back and continue on your journey.
@James Furey The worst part is when you're sober and start realizing the lasting, potentially permanent, damage youve done to your mind and body. My memory is still so bad from being an alcoholic.
@@ivankawnartist Yeah but that wasn't a denial. The 22 percent thing really got me suspicious, remember the time when Rick instructed robot Morty (and Summer) to enhance emotional response or something by x percent? It was the Mad Max parody episode.
12:19 I think Evil Morty is just gone. His big plan was to find a way out from Rick, and for as long as our Rick and Morty remain in the central finite curve, they will never ever ever encounter him again.
I'm pretty sure there isn't a central finite curve anymore. Evil Morty destroyed their capacity to isolate universes so that the CFC could keep existing. I think that's why we've been seeing hints of things that are stronger or more competent than Rick, like the dinosaurs.
@@patricknice8652 The dinosaurs closed the hole that Rick made. The one he used to be able to jump between different realities in the absence of portal fluid?
something like that doesnt just not get brought up again. He will be back at some point. I still think he could be Ricks "original" Morty. There is still the mystery of Ricks memories of Morty as a baby and Bird Person having pictures of a young Morty. There is some point in our Ricks life where he settled down with a family and it clearly all went to shit. I like to think that maybe that first scene in the opening is a clue. The one where Rick and Morty are running on an Alien Planet and Rick leaves Morty behind. I think its one of if not the only thing thats never been updated in the opening and has different animation quality than the rest. I think it may be significant.
Fun fact, the very first lightsaber injury ever shown was NOT cauterized. When Obi-wan cuts off that wolf-man's arm in the Mos Eisley cantina scene, the arm is shown lying in a puddle of blood. So if you want to get technical, the lightsaber injuries in this episode were actually MORE accurate to the true original than most of the ones in the actual movies.
Evil Morty got out. There's no way they just team up with him for something this small. He's out, he got away from all the bullshit, he's not gonna get dragged back in.
12:17 i dont think evil morty is in the picture anymore, remember he literally broke through our layers of multiverse (green) and went through to another completely different... multiversal reality (yellow) to get away from Rick's existence.
ACTUALLY REAL LOGHTSABERS HAVE A BUTTON YOU HAVE TO PRESS CONTINUALLY or they turn off. Just have to nerd out here. Thats the official law if they keep burning out of someones hand the owner is holding the button with the force;) Same with throws etc.
Evil Morty's goal was to break through the central finite curve to get to a universe where Rick wasn't God. He succeeded. His arc is over. If they do enlist his help it'll be because they need him to hack something of Rick Prime's, since Evil Morty is apparently the only non-rick to ever hack portal guns.
9:49 - 10:00 Keith David ain't wrong on that one. What Disney's been doing with LucasFilms properties is getting pretty desperate and phoned in. I mean, I still like The Mandalorian, but other projects are only so and so.
Rick already became nicer in season 6 all together, but he isn’t 22 percent nicer maybe like 7 percent nicer. He treated jerry better. He only made himself a robot recently like the last episode before this. He can become nicer, but that will take time.
Welp, so much for Morty's heartfelt admission of love for his gramps last episode.... lol. But I guess it still sorta counts on a technical level, as Rickbot himself implied. Anyways, the hunt for Rick Prime is on! BTW, I like how the President is the main antagonist of a finale episode again. So is this gonna be a thing every 3 seasons now? 😂
I believe rick could become 22 percent nicer, but it will take some time. He has been treating jerry better the whole season, which Rick only replaced himself with a robot last ep.
@@bluebubble229 Oh, I definitely don't disagree. As you pointed out, the robot replacement only took place one episode ago, so that means we _have_ seen some genuine improvement from Rick throughout the season.... especially in regard to his treatment towards Jerry. And frankly, it wouldn't have felt right at all if a robot or clone were the one driving the plot of the fortune cookie/Piss Master episodes... not with the level of empathy he displayed in those stories. So yeah, it does seem he's taking baby steps towards self-improvement after all. I mean, if he's now willing to let Morty join in on his quest to hunt down Rick Prime, even if it inevitably leads to more heartache in the future....
But wait, didn't our Rick already know that Rick Prime is trapped in the Cronnenberg dimension? That's literally what his Diane AI hinted [and he figured out] in ep1 of this season . Why didn't he start looking there? Unless of course he did offscreen and also Rick Prime found a way to escape the Cronnenberg dimension. Idk. Also, is it the writers forgetting their own story? Morty again seems to gain a lot of independence and anger towards Rick. Wasn't that part of him left inside Roy - the VR Game [aka, Marta]? It seems we're back to pre Season 5 finale Morty 🤔. The president shouldn't have been able to drive a wedge between them because that rebellious part of Morty is left inside the Roy machine. And finally, it didn't make sense that Rick used a robot surrogate only as recent as the Knights of the Sun episode. You see, it implies that Rick's new found compassion towards his family [as well as this new found sense of general understanding] started in that episode but as we saw in the Piss Master episode, this new compassionate Rick is more prevalent in S6. And honestly this contradicts the fact that he's on revenge arc after the events of ep1 of season 6. It made sense that "oh guess what, I'm a robot!" was the reason why Rick was suddenly dull. It ties in perfectly with Harmon and Roiland's "psyche!" writing style where they demolish any real growth at the end of Rick's development and take us back to the status quo. So it was odd that our Rick kept saying he switched to a robot at the start of the Knight of the Sun episode and not earlier. See? Even the creators of this video thought that that's why he was progressing in therapy: because he is a robot

You’re not supposed to agree with the President’s views on Star Wars. The writers clearly intended him to be the bitter, toxic Star Wars fan who hates anything new from the franchise and devalues the opinions of anyone who likes the SW stuff they hate.
