Jerrys define themselves in reference to other people, so when there are no other people, Jerrys have to deal with themselves as they really are. The reflex they have to trap others in their own self-pity is turned outward without others to trap, as part of their survival instinct, and they become predators. This is why Cronenberg world Jerry is cool- he had no choice after he lost everything (and to be fair, if you were the only Jerry in a world full of Cronenbergs, you'd be cool by default).
@@dilir2572 Jerry does better alone, in the comics the jerry from doofus ricks dimension, doofus Jerry never met beth [because doofus rick never had kids] and because of this took over the world and became smarter than rick and even nearly killed every rick in the citedel
I think that is a bit of an over-read. Jerry has been shown to be cool before given the proper circumstances, and he was a badass before in the cronenberg world.
It's also why Jerry kept confiding in media and replicating cool characters, when he doesn't have other people to define himself by, he uses fictional characters as a stand in.
What i got from this episode, Rick (our rick) is trying to be a rick (the one who killed Diane) a cold hearted asshole, but Rick still has emotion and sympathy. I also realize that all of Ricks in the Citadel are asshole except for our rick.
I find it interesting how the best version of each member of the family are the ones who stopped caring. Prime Rick - outsmarts the “Rickest Rick” Evil Morty - outsmarts the “Rickest Rick” and leaves the finite curve Space Beth - free from her family Prime Jerry - lost everyone and became cool Our Summer - Our Rick basically let’s her do whatever she wants
takes me back to the law firm party episode of community where Jeff explains why he became a lawyer after taking admiration for the lawyer that was apart of his parents custody battle over him as a kid. “He didn’t care- he couldn’t care! and the less he cared the better he was.”
The 'best' versions as you call them, are uncaring, selfish people that have no motivation in life other than self-gratification. They are the most damaged of all bec they can't take being emotionally hurt any more and so have built walls around their hearts to make them less vulnerable to being hurt emotionally. If you think they are happy, you are sadly mistaken.
I think they gonna ignore Evil Rick and Evil Morty entirely, and have random adventures, until the very last episode of the season when they're like: oh right, here they are, you happy? cya, next season. The best is not to get too invested in that whole ordeal.
I highly doubt this, Justin specifically said that this season was going to be a banger and with all the damn promo they're doing I couldn't see them doing that. Because season 5 was a circle jerk till the end of the season until EP 8, 9 and 10. So I'm sure we're gunna get a whole lot of juicy exposition dump mixed in with that good ole R&M randomness!!! Only time will tell though.
I didn't say they're not gonna be funny or good. I meant they're not gonna be cannon plot heavy like Anthony wishes them to be. I enjoy the show no matter what.
That's why they made such a big deal out of the fact that Rick never wanted summer to go on adventures in the beginning in the first few seasons because she reminded him of his deceased wife and he couldn't bear losing that again that's interesting and heartbreaking
The dimension Rick and Morty hop to after Love Potion #9 is apparently C-131. It's also called the Replacement/Frundled dimension. Our Morty is Cronenberg (Prime) Our Rick is C-137 Our Beth, Space Beth, and Summer are Replacement/Frundled/C-131 Our Jerry is the one we picked up with the Blips & Chitz ticket at the end of Mortynight Run. He is from a dimension similar to C-131 where Beth and Jerry never divorce (and as we see in this ep, the family is completely dysfunctional) We don't know where Evil Morty comes from. Evil Rick is from the Cronenberg/Prime dimension.
I actually thought the same, like bring that Jerry back for Space Beth to be her slam piece, especially if he still have his post apocalyptic survivor bod underneath the clothes. Still they also killed off the other Jerry through mr frundles. It is nice to see how different the family dynamics are from seasons when looking at season 2 and season 6
Our Rick was about to say “he’s the rickest Rick” at the end I feel instead of real deal, I feel he could easily be more of a threat than Evil Morty ever was
"If you go down there, he's going to kill you." "Good." I don't think Rick has ever been THIS up front about his suicidal tendencies. S6 is gonna be wild.
I seriously think our rick is the one who can (not will, but maybe could) defeat rick prime. and rick prime just pissed him off to see whos the most "rick"
@@marshallmeade10 I'm not even sure if Rick himself knows which of them is the most "Rick" At the end of the episode, Rick says "The guy truly does not care about anything. He's the.. real deal." and the way he hesitates *almost* makes it sound like he was going to call him the "rickest Rick"
Nah he is the rickest rick, the earth from season 1, their original earth, our rick took HIS spot, thats why there was no rick when he got there. The entire episode is insane
@@westfinest20 C-137 is not mentioned until after they Cronenberg Morty’s original Earth-reality and move. So we don’t actually know if that’s C-137 in S1:1, or if they moved to C-137, or C-137 is just Rick’s original reality and he’s carried that identifier with him. Plus, where does the post-squirrel move fit into all that? The answer is, don’t think it. But it’s the last one. The Rick we follow is from C-137. The family gets to be identified as C-137 because of they’re connection to C-137 Rick, since to Ricks, the family is interchangeable and it’s just the Rick they’re with that matters.
This is one of my favorite episodes, the kind where I have to see it 3 times with a notebook to figure out the continuity and connections lol Loved it! This season is gonna be lit
If you think about it Rick Prime (Morty's original grandpa) was back in the cronenberg universe is because of the traveler reset, hence why he has no idea why he's in there Also, all the "strongest/Rickest" Smiths are loners who stopped caring. Space Beth- ditched her family to become a galactic hero Rick Prime - truly gives no shits about his family or anyone Evil Morty - became so apathetic he left the central finite curve Badass Jerry with biceps - lost everyone, became a survivor Summer - a violent psycho who only wants approval from Rick. The point is made further because badass Jerry still tried to kill Prime Rick to save his son and Rick, and ended up paying the price for it
Btw I just realized the original reality of Jerry was because during the Jerry daycare episode they did that switch with the jerries at the end of our episode so they probably got the wrong Jerry.
I'm sure in the original storyline it didn't matter which Jerry because nearby timelines are interchangeable but the fans grab on tight to ideas so in this episode they said sure fans we'll back you up so they addressed it as an entangled loose end.
Rick Prime is probably the one who started the entire events of all preceeding Ricks from other universes. Rick Prime was the first to discover portal technology (of all Ricks) and then wanted to tell each version of himself of this invention so they can all be the most powerful and intellegent being in their respective universes. Again, Rick Prime truly does not care about anyone and wants all other Ricks to be like that as well thus killing their family if they didn't accept the portal technology initially. Remember when Rick C-137 says that the Citadel Ricks are less versions Ricks because they stopped their duty as a Rick, and that duty was finding and killing the Rick Prime who killed their respective families. Rick C-137 was the only one who really pulled through and reached this far into chasing Rick Prime.
Dude I didnt even remember the jerry daycare and spent the last few minutes thinking how did this jerry end up out of his og dimension?. Man they do a good job with these episodes
This was brought up in the comment section of another reaction but notice that "Prime Rick" refers to Jerry as "A concept" meaning he doesn't consider him anything else than a law of nature like Gravity or Force
Lol, this time Jerry roasted Rick hard by saying "I'm denial Rick." It's clear to everyone that Rick C137 is a tsundere and he values the concepts of friends and family the most. Otherwise, he wouldn't have spent that much effort in pursuing Rick Prime for killing his original family.
And with the death of Cronenburged World Jerry and the entire rest of the family from the first half of season 1, we can finally put that plotline to rest six seasons later... Or it least we fucking *would* have been able to, if it weren't for the discovery that Rick Prime is from Cronenburged World!
Honestly was at first disappointed they brought back the Rick that killed C-137's family, BUT if it's to progress the story and Rick's character as a whole, I am all for it! I also love how they brought up the whole "not from this dimension" thing and have settled with "we care for each other, and that's all that matters" kind of a cliche, but really weirdly wholesome message. Even the entire Smith family were confident Rick was bullshitting the whole not your Rick thing. Liking season 6 so far!
I think Morty is being used as bait for the other Rick since he’s already looking for him. I could tell right off the bat that Rick wasn’t really into the whole ‘family is what matters’ when Morty did his speech about it. He’s mainly out for revenge.
also I kinda liked that it's possible that past episodes could mean we're following a different universe rick and morty. Like the decoy episode was actually from a different universe, the last family that was in space at the time and with space beth probably went back to earth and then got killed by mr. wants to be hunted
@@westfinest20 it doesn't have to be completely different, there's some big changes though, like how everyone isn't gonna be a big ass towards each other, that's why they make that season 2 comparison EDIT: Ok to be fair there was no tag in your reply 😭
Rick and Morty, the only show on tv that can fit what feels like an entire season of a show’s plot and fit it into one 22 minute episode and have it still be awesome. And now we no longer have portal fast travel, so that means more shit will catch up with the Smith family faster.
Was that episode the one with the dragons or the one with Morty's sperm army? I can't remember (actually it's more like I can't be bothered to remember, both episodes were pretty lame).
"Faith in the show" like Rick and Morty has any sort of moral code There's gonna be more fucky episodes probably even worse than the dragon and the incest one. That's apart of the shows charm, they can do fucked up shit without having any filters. If you dont like weird, wacky concepts and plot points which spit in the viewers face I dont think this show is for you we got 4 more seasons to go after this shits gonna get weird, dark and fucked up
@@dhiznutz8926 Not only that but the theme of the episode was so boring and uncomfortable to watch. I hardly laughed during that episode, even if the theme was this cringy, at least make it fun right? In the episode of incest dragon, it was weird but I enjoyed it and laughed. Like how at the end the wizard froze himself just to die slowly lmaoo.
Evil Rick didn't give any fucks about his family, He bailed on them to stay in a tube until Rick found his clone and woke him up. Evil Rick abandoned his family just to hide from somene he fucked over, The worst part, He abandoned them but technically never left them. So he's just been chilling in the C-137 universe in a tube.
Evil Rick IS C-137 Rick, Just like Our main Morty is C-137 Morty. Evil Rick Killed our Prime Rick's family and bailed back to his reality. As for why. Our Prime Rick said it best "He truly doesn't give a shit about anything." And he stated his reasoning at the end of the episode "Just to fuck with a guy" He obviously hasn't aged a single day probably found some way to live forever.
I think it will tie together as new Rick is a new generation Rick and uses different tech. He has precognition that's why he was easily able to beat our Rick. He came to do his nefarious deed for a reason not explained yet, could be for revenge. He misrepresented his age while in the tube but we can see in post-credit scene he looks much younger. Now here's the question 6 layers deep, why is he questioning "why" he ended up there? We believe our Rick sent him there on the reset but who really is smarter, new-age Rick or us? Imagine if we're wrong and he's asking "why" for a different reason? What if Cronenberg-Morty isn't his grandson and that's why he's asking why he is there? I could go on.
I found something nobody is talking about... Can somebody please watch the moment Rick returns to his original universe in Season 6 episode 1. Look at the portal gun, in the hands of Rick prime’s hologram. Now, compare that portal gun to the gun you see in the hands of the Rick prime from the season 3 memory. Why are they different, and why can I not find a single person talking about this? Like what the fuck. Also, in the hologram in season 6 episode 1, the 'analyzing' animation on the left side of Rick prime's hologram cycles through the different portal guns, indicating to the audience to pay attention, and that it's not a mistake. It may also be important to note that the portal gun that Rick prime is holding in season 3, is the same portal gun "prototype" that Morty steals with the insane asylum guy in the season 5 'portal boys' episode. Is this connected? Are there 2 different Rick primes? If our Rick was building the same prototype portal gun that season 3 Rick Prime had, could that somehow mean our Rick becomes a Rick prime? A Diane murderer? Please somebody tell me I'm not crazy. Nobody is fucking talking about this. Also, side note, if Rick prime has a Beth and a Morty, he had a Diane. Why would Rick prime have a child with Diane only to go out murdering other Diane’s? (or just our Rick's Diane). What if this guy is not what we think he is?
“Buddy I’ve been asking myself that exact same question” I JUST UNDERSTOOD WHAT RICK PRIMES DIALOGUE MEANS 🤣🤣 HES ASKING WHY HES BACK IN HIS REALITY OF ORIGIN!
I accidentally caught the first episode last night, just by coincidence, I was like wut!? I watched it twice before going into the after credits scene. Wow, I really like it. They want to reset everything but at the same time they covered a lot of loose ends. In this show the multi-verse is so infinite that the similar ones are so interchangeable that they're effectively equal at least that was the plan - but since fans get too caught up in minutiae they just went ahead and addressed them all. The evil Rick seemed like he doesn't care and it probably means he won't show up again for a while, like why would he care at all? There is just one nagging thing that they left us with and it's that he is now asking why he was there to begin with... speculation in the next comment. [fixed spelling lol]
Yes the fans are always speculating - too much. So let's go ahead and speculate too much. The events with evil Morty last season it seemed like didn't affect new-evil Rick, it looks like he was not aware at all therefore at the post-credit scene he was asking why he was there. Did he not have a portal gun and not know about the portal fluid issue? Yes he did have a portal gun at least at some point in the past because Diane knew how to find him. Since he's curious now at what happened he might start investigating and at first he seemed totally detached from the events of the previous seasons, now he is a big risk since he might start getting involved. Did he just easily outsmart our Rick? Why is new Rick so young? It seemed like he is aware of how old Rick should be because he pretended to be old when he was naked in the tube, only on the display screens he looked younger - but in the post credit he is revealed to be young actually and being old was a disguise. So is he a traveler from another time? Is that why he knows what he knows, he seemed to have precognition of what our Rick would be doing when he showed up in that facility in space. Also he seemed to have been in time stasis like our Rick woke him up from sleep or something, it's a puzzle. Also get this, he doesn't exactly look like regular Ricks, is he really a future Rick like a son of Rick? Could he be Morty's kid become vengeful and come back to our time to mess with the family? He would have advance knowledge and advanced tech which he is displaying. I'm looking forward to not seeing him for a while as the show I believe intends.
I’d say the intentions are really good, however the dialogues still don’t feel like good rick and morty to me. However I can’t pin point exactly what I’m missing. Still, a hell of a lot better than s5
Plot hole, they shouldnt have the Jerry from Jerryburry since in Morty's mind blowers when the squirrels took over they had to switch universes again, so this would be the 3rd jerry
So basically our Rick, the Rickiest Rick, is a "Simple Rick". Evil Rick even asks him, "What kind of Rick are you?" in the same sort of tone in Simple Rick. It only said Simple Rick "works more with wood", not that he doesn't work with tech (You can see the tech blueprints in Simple Rick's garage, and the same box and etc in the Rickiest Rick garage later). He loves his family and daughter, and creates teleportation. His detachment to Summer and Morty is partly because in his universe they never came to be, so everytime he looks at them he sees what he knows he'll never have. And his family keeps yelling at him for abandoning them, when he never did and never would. He's trying to let go like Evil Rick did, but can't do it. Here's a few videos with his entire back story.: ruclips.net/video/CLqAFIMgpIU/видео.html ruclips.net/video/lFUI17c8KDw/видео.html ruclips.net/video/oZLnHWTfP8I/видео.html Now heres more of a mind bender. We never actually see Evil Rick dropping the bomb that killed RR's family. Watch there be a twist and maybe the person that did it is Evil Morty or someone else. ER would totally take the credit just to mess with him.
so I haven't seen anyone point it out but at original ricks universe the old man with the letter basically confirms they are in the real multiverse now not just with smart ricks since another universe old man came to warn himself that he is trap by a smart man.
Anyone else notice ricks original house is a clone of Walter whites house ? Since we know before the bomb Rick just wanted to be simple kinda like simple Rick from the citadel Also when evil morty was first introduced, Rick says “ you know the Rickest rich will have the Mortiest Morty.
Guys, you know when they had that bit of trivia going around we're supposedly Rick and Morty had this dimension related subplot that was really hard to pick up on? I think we found it lol.
Oh man , I didn’t even know Rick and Morty was back…because I don’t watch television at all anymore. It’s 97% commercials and 1% the thing I actually wanted to see. ( I know that doesn’t “ technically “ add up to 100% but I’m allowing for errors on either side) It’s the same reason I hit the skip button as fast as I’m allowed on RUclips ads. All a commercial does is waste my time and guarantee I’m 190% not buying your product. In fact if I see a commercial I go out of my way to not buy the product.( Edit : 190% is obviously an easily correctable typo but FUCK IT! Instead let’s round up to 200%)
The great question is why "evil/killer Rick" killed the family of the rickiest of rick(protagonist rick)?. bcoz the evil/killer rick knows that the protagonist rick will build the citadel rick?
-Our rick was not the rickest rick after all. The one who killed his family is. He truly doesn't care and he seems at least as smart if not smarter than our rick (who slaughtered ricks by the hundreds if not thousands). -Rick had to literally grab bag them from different realities, but he has now found versions of his family that he actually cares about. -the rickest rick most likely made all ricks what they are. Which would explain why he showed up and tried to get our rick to invent the portal gun. Only ricks that have nothing they care about invent it. Most we've seen abandon their families, but our ricks were taken. -evil morty at least knows about prime rick. He smuggly refers to our rick as the rickest rick, which clues rick into the portals being hacked. If they ever actually ran into each other is unclear, but maybe that's how evil morty became so cold and efficient. Some mind blowing developments.
Remember when he reset the portal travelers of the portal gun and they started blinking green ? Well he reset all the portal travelers ever meaning evil morty got sent back . My guess is is what I say is true I wonder what evil morty next phase of ideas and plans would be .
My guess is that when Evil Morty arrives in a universe without Rick he will find it lifeless, and he will realize that Rick balances the universes (unintentionally).
How come in the chronenberg universe there's no Diane though? What happened to her like Beth is fine and the Rick there is the one who killed our Rick's Beth and Diane so did he do something to his own Diane? Or is she still out there somewhere? Because in order for this universe to have a Beth I'm assuming there had to have been a Diane and maybe she is part of why evil Rick is the way he is idk maybe something happened to her so he just ran around recruiting ricks and killed the families of those that refused like our Rick
@@them4licious0ne yeah they all I think pass due to cancer or something. Beth still grows up, that would have been our Rick's timeline too if not for immortal Rick.
@@Womandalorian oh yeah I don't remember where did they mention that, that's kinda weird tho you'd think Rick would be able to save her or something to prevent her from dying of cancer but idk maybe I'm looking too much into it
@@Bishcona For some reason, Cancer seems to be unbeatable in a lot of literature.. the original captain marvel got did in by cancer… jane foster got did in by cancer
Genuinely hoping "Evil Morty" did just as he claim he would and what Rick said, he fucked off. The creators dreaded evil Morty's storyline from the moment the fans started making their insane theories. Let him be off in his own adventure and permanently written off the show. All the discussion in the comments about evil Rick and evil Morty teaming up or being the only ones that can fight each other is exactly what you don't want in story telling and why Harmon probably doesn't plan on doing that unless pressured by the network.
good job here. With this episode they tried to clean it up as much as possible and now it's open to infinite new possibilities but some fans want to reuse and rehash old obsolete characters like it was Star Wars, oops I went too far.
Evil Morty is gone for good, remember the ending of last season, he actually traveled from the "green" multiverse, into another yellow bubbled multiverse
This episode was GREAT, but DAMN; SO MUCH CONTINUITY!!😂 While the episode was engrossing and entertaining for all of us who’ve been marinating in Rick And Morty lore for the last 5 seasons, I can’t imagine what it would be like for a Rick And Morty newbie to watch it.
There are 2 types of ricks the ones who abandoned their families meaning Beth and Diane and then the ricks who had their Beth’s and Diane’s killed making them seek revenge the ones who abandoned their families don’t really care as much about the main cast while the ones who lost their children actually love their family they just don’t show it as much as our Rick who is the rickest Rick since the rickest Rick would love his family the most
Well now the whole family are interdimensional travelers. All swooped in and took places of their other selfs so now no one can complain about "my orginal summer/morty/rick" since all of them are kinda from different places and they know it. Well so the Jerry mix up was really Mortys fault for losing that Jerry-ticket.... other funny thing is: We have Morty who destroyed his world and right after that we have a Jerry who destroyed his entire world...like father like son....the world destroying thing runs in the family.
well, honestly.... "evil rick" probably had a kid by accident lol most ricks like having a bit too much fun with people- so maybe he had beth on accident and everything went from there? also am i the only one happy that rick has slowly been getting nicer through all the seasons? and- with them now tying everything together.... good luck to the writers on trying to actually work with some episodes they've made lmao-
Shouldn’t Beth And Summer be different too? They mentioned that Morty is buried in the backyard but didn’t they have to move worlds again when Morty caused all the squirrels to attack them?
Wait so season 6 is going into continuity more? Then does that mean we’ll see Birdperson again with his daughter and Supernova again since we all saw Vindicators 2 before season 6 started?
@@Drunkenmist132 Morty said he was from c137 when Rick is in prison. That doesn't mean Morty knows what he's talking about. He's probably repeating what Rick said.
But why is Morty asking if he’s bait? If Rick Prime doesn’t care about anything why would he go after Morty? (Had to fix it because that’s what they call him)
@@VeniVidiVici.. nobody really knows, we can't really tell if he does care. Matter of fact it could of been evil rick who was holding baby morty so he probably cared after all. Or he noticed c 137 cares about his grandson so he'll use morty. Waiting till next episode to find out.
Theory: If Prime Rick is the Rickest Rick of them all, Evil Morty might have baited the wrong Rick after all. If he is a threat to even Evil Morty, its possible that Evil Morty could return and target Prime Rick.

What i got from this episode, Rick (our rick) is trying to be a rick (the one who killed Diane) a cold hearted asshole, but Rick still has emotion and sympathy. I also realize that all of Ricks in the Citadel are asshole except for our rick.
What about cop rick?
I find it interesting how the best version of each member of the family are the ones who stopped caring.
Prime Rick - outsmarts the “Rickest Rick”
Evil Morty - outsmarts the “Rickest Rick” and leaves the finite curve
Space Beth - free from her family
Prime Jerry - lost everyone and became cool
Our Summer - Our Rick basically let’s her do whatever she wants
very good point!
takes me back to the law firm party episode of community where Jeff explains why he became a lawyer after taking admiration for the lawyer that was apart of his parents custody battle over him as a kid. “He didn’t care- he couldn’t care! and the less he cared the better he was.”
That seems nihilistic
The 'best' versions as you call them, are uncaring, selfish people that have no motivation in life other than self-gratification. They are the most damaged of all bec they can't take being emotionally hurt any more and so have built walls around their hearts to make them less vulnerable to being hurt emotionally. If you think they are happy, you are sadly mistaken.
@@daedalos5132 by best I just meant by how powerful they are
I think they gonna ignore Evil Rick and Evil Morty entirely, and have random adventures, until the very last episode of the season when they're like: oh right, here they are, you happy? cya, next season.
Tai Porto, so far your right. Ep 2 was pretty lame and them saying Die Hard a hundred times wasn't funny at all.
Our Morty is Cronenberg (Prime)
Our Rick is C-137
Our Beth, Space Beth, and Summer are Replacement/Frundled/C-131
Our Jerry is the one we picked up with the Blips & Chitz ticket at the end of Mortynight Run. He is from a dimension similar to C-131 where Beth and Jerry never divorce (and as we see in this ep, the family is completely dysfunctional)
We don't know where Evil Morty comes from.
Evil Rick is from the Cronenberg/Prime dimension.
I hope Kronenberg Jerry returns. Him and Space Beth would be perfect for each other.
Just saw the post-credit. Nevermind!
This is hilarious.
@@mstr293 yeah they shouldnt have killed him off he was cool, but i understand why they killed him off, they probably wanna wrap up all the loose ends
@@TheGeckoNinja But possibly, this could have happened so there would be new room for our current Jerry to further develop.
Our Rick was about to say “he’s the rickest Rick” at the end I feel instead of real deal, I feel he could easily be more of a threat than Evil Morty ever was
"If you go down there, he's going to kill you."
"Good."
I don't think Rick has ever been THIS up front about his suicidal tendencies. S6 is gonna be wild.
I seriously think our rick is the one who can (not will, but maybe could) defeat rick prime. and rick prime just pissed him off to see whos the most "rick"
@@marshallmeade10 I'm not even sure if Rick himself knows which of them is the most "Rick"
At the end of the episode, Rick says "The guy truly does not care about anything. He's the.. real deal." and the way he hesitates *almost* makes it sound like he was going to call him the "rickest Rick"
such a goopd theroy
He's not Evil Rick, Evil Rick is dead. He is dubbed as Weird Rick while Rick C137 who is the MC is dubbed as the Rickiest Rick.
in the inside episode, they refer him as Prime Rick
Nah he is the rickest rick, the earth from season 1, their original earth, our rick took HIS spot, thats why there was no rick when he got there. The entire episode is insane
Well he is actually Rick c-137 since that’s morty c-137 real Rick
@@westfinest20 There's no Morty C137 since Beth C137 died as a child and never get married.
This is one of my favorite episodes, the kind where I have to see it 3 times with a notebook to figure out the continuity and connections lol
Loved it! This season is gonna be lit
If you think about it Rick Prime (Morty's original grandpa) was back in the cronenberg universe is because of the traveler reset, hence why he has no idea why he's in there
Also, all the "strongest/Rickest" Smiths are loners who stopped caring.
Space Beth- ditched her family to become a galactic hero
Rick Prime - truly gives no shits about his family or anyone
Evil Morty - became so apathetic he left the central finite curve
Badass Jerry with biceps - lost everyone, became a survivor
Summer - a violent psycho who only wants approval from Rick.
The point is made further because badass Jerry still tried to kill Prime Rick to save his son and Rick, and ended up paying the price for it
This episode was a lot to handle
I want 50% of the season to be continuity driven and rest to be one offs
Mr. Frundles is terrifying lol, seconds to assimilate an entire planet... think about that lol.
Btw I just realized the original reality of Jerry was because during the Jerry daycare episode they did that switch with the jerries at the end of our episode so they probably got the wrong Jerry.
No duh! ( in a Jerry like voice)
There was also another evil Rick from season 1 episode 10, but he was short lived because he was beat to death by captured morty’s.
Another season of Rick and Morty with you guys. So excited!
Was there from the beginning on your Rick and Morty reactions years ago! Glad its back!!
It’s not a different Rick & morty. How could you think that when the portal put everyone back to their original universe.
@@westfinest20 it doesn't have to be completely different, there's some big changes though, like how everyone isn't gonna be a big ass towards each other, that's why they make that season 2 comparison
EDIT: Ok to be fair there was no tag in your reply 😭
I think its a great idea evil rick be the next big bad after evil morty left
I love that Jerry read the four agreements 😆. Definitely helps one evolve
I noticed that both evil rick and evil morty
Highly resembles detox rick and morty
I've been calling him Rick prime, but evil Rick works too!
WatchMojo has been calling him "weird Rick." No. Just...no.
I'm just happy Jerryborree curiosity was answered. It was great. This was definitely a strong start for s6, for me. Keep that energy going. (I hope)
Rick and Morty, the only show on tv that can fit what feels like an entire season of a show’s plot and fit it into one 22 minute episode and have it still be awesome.
And now we no longer have portal fast travel, so that means more shit will catch up with the Smith family faster.
Season 5 shaked my faith in the show after Episode 4. But this one has actually restored it. I hope they dont destroy it again.
Was that episode the one with the dragons or the one with Morty's sperm army? I can't remember (actually it's more like I can't be bothered to remember, both episodes were pretty lame).
If I had a nickel for everytime someone complained about the dragon or the incest baby episodes.....
"Faith in the show" like Rick and Morty has any sort of moral code
There's gonna be more fucky episodes probably even worse than the dragon and the incest one. That's apart of the shows charm, they can do fucked up shit without having any filters.
If you dont like weird, wacky concepts and plot points which spit in the viewers face I dont think this show is for you
we got 4 more seasons to go after this
shits gonna get weird, dark and fucked up
Why care about morals in a show? Because it makes you uncomfortable? Might as well just avoid all of life if anything makes you uncomfortable
Im confused why would evil rick even do that and why was he hiding from c137 rick in the first place
@@HaysonTM2 nah our ricks original universe is c-137
@@HaysonTM2 og Rick is c-137, morty's universe has a different name i dont think they've mentioned it tho
The theorist are going to go crazy
So instead of an evil Morty we get an evil Rick.

I missed this episode got back from no internet vacation. I remember Rick and Morty brought me here in the channel. Ahh good ol'days ❤️
This is hot trending. You dropped your video at the right time haha
Quick reaction! Nice! You guys are the best!
this season is gonna be wild
This episode have less joke, yet it is actually very well written.
I’d say the intentions are really good, however the dialogues still don’t feel like good rick and morty to me.
However I can’t pin point exactly what I’m missing.
Still, a hell of a lot better than s5
you guys are awesome, pretty much said the exact same thoughts i was thinking
The moment I finally like Jerry's character, they suddenly kill him.
I was hoping they would bring him along and he would end up with Space Beth
Beyond me how somebody could not like Jerry from the get-go.
Plot hole, they shouldnt have the Jerry from Jerryburry since in Morty's mind blowers when the squirrels took over they had to switch universes again, so this would be the 3rd jerry
Amazing first episode!
Definitely worth the wait
I’m so in love with this series
Here's a few videos with his entire back story.:

Now heres more of a mind bender.

I missed Rick & Morty so much, but I also missed your reactions to it!
I think Rick Prime/Evil Rick is our actual Rick, but from the future. That’s why our Rick could never find him, he was looking for himself.
The Switch Jerry was back at the daycare of Jerry’s there was a theory and this episode confirmed it
Kacee said new setup in a way that sounded almost like Pickle Rickkkkkkk!!
This ep was so good on so many levels
I love you guys! Fuck yes! You got this up so soon! So much is going down.

( I know that doesn’t “ technically “ add up to 100% but I’m allowing for errors on either side)
It’s the same reason I hit the skip button as fast as I’m allowed on RUclips ads. All a commercial does is waste my time and guarantee I’m 190% not buying your product. In fact if I see a commercial I go out of my way to not buy the product.( Edit : 190% is obviously an easily correctable typo but FUCK IT! Instead let’s round up to 200%)

When is episode 2 coming out?
The great question is why "evil/killer Rick" killed the family of the rickiest of rick(protagonist rick)?. bcoz the evil/killer rick knows that the protagonist rick will build the citadel rick?
Evil Rick is c137 Rick…our Rick is from an unnamed universe
Since the writers are great I think they can find a way to connect the dots.
They are connecting dots that haven’t even been drawn yet , don’t worry.
My guess is that when Evil Morty arrives in a universe without Rick he will find it lifeless, and he will realize that Rick balances the universes (unintentionally).
Nah, I think he'll either pull a Rick, or be like untoxic Morty, living the best he can.
How come in the chronenberg universe there's no Diane though? What happened to her like Beth is fine and the Rick there is the one who killed our Rick's Beth and Diane so did he do something to his own Diane? Or is she still out there somewhere? Because in order for this universe to have a Beth I'm assuming there had to have been a Diane and maybe she is part of why evil Rick is the way he is idk maybe something happened to her so he just ran around recruiting ricks and killed the families of those that refused like our Rick
in all of the universe, diane dies

This episode was GREAT, but DAMN; SO MUCH CONTINUITY!!😂
While the episode was engrossing and entertaining for all of us who’ve been marinating in Rick And Morty lore for the last 5 seasons, I can’t imagine what it would be like for a Rick And Morty newbie to watch it.
There are 2 types of ricks the ones who abandoned their families meaning Beth and Diane and then the ricks who had their Beth’s and Diane’s killed making them seek revenge the ones who abandoned their families don’t really care as much about the main cast while the ones who lost their children actually love their family they just don’t show it as much as our Rick who is the rickest Rick since the rickest Rick would love his family the most
Great reaction!
I like the first episode of Rick and Morty Season 6 better than the first episode of Season 5! Thank you, Kacee and Anthony!
well, honestly....
"evil rick" probably had a kid by accident lol
most ricks like having a bit too much fun with people- so maybe he had beth on accident and everything went from there?

Shouldn’t Beth And Summer be different too? They mentioned that Morty is buried in the backyard but didn’t they have to move worlds again when Morty caused all the squirrels to attack them?

Wait so season 6 is going into continuity more? Then does that mean we’ll see Birdperson again with his daughter and Supernova again since we all saw Vindicators 2 before season 6 started?
Doesn't this mean evil Rick is c137 and also Morty is c137 but the Rick we follow is a different Rick!?
