One of the grittiest and best antiwar songs ever written. Dolores showed the anger and frustration in the senselessness that was the two Irelands being at each other over petty differences of religion. She would sing this song now in the name of peace in Europe and the Middle East if she was still here. She was a once in a lifetime talent and any fan of music misses her presence. At least we can see her perform in clips like this and remember her for the good she brought our world in her talent. RIP Dolores may we all see you in the next life to sing for us.

🚩I heard it for the first time in 2002. It was impossible to find the tape in our country. Then I saw the album "No Need to Argue" from a friend. And when I insisted, he gave it to me as a gift. It's been 22 years and I feel sad every time I hear Dolores' voice. He is a very, very important and valuable artist for me. God bless you, Dolores. We loved you so much. We will continue to love.
It's 2023 and it's still a masterpiece! It never goes out of style.

The thing I love most about this is how much the orchestra was used to make an already great song even better. So often you see orchestra collaborations where the orchestra is only given backing long notes and harmonies. This arrangement gave the orchestra so much to do and with Dolores's vocals and guitar, it was amazing!

Born in 1980 Poland, this song was always special to me... when moved to uk in 2006 met Irish people and I understood we are the same breed! what's in the heart is in the end of the tongue!!! Dolores will be missed for so many reasons, amazing voice
Grew up with reports on the tv of the troubles..big fear growing up was would it spread south...until good Friday agreement..people only starting to talk about the civil war that happened after the war of independence now...plus the two groups involved just joined in government a hundred years later in republic of Ireland...a lot of stories and history near where I live and graves and monuments..zombie says it all.
Grew up in Andersonstown, W. Belfast, "slept" under my bed many a night, my mum was blown up in the Abercorn explosion, my dad shoveled human parts into bin bags in the Springfield rd, we dodged sniper and army bullets on the way home from school. And theres a lot more, adult soldiers who served their 12 weeks got PTSD, noone stopped to think about us kids who lived it for years, our suicide rate is 4 times national average...

There's something about combining Rock music with Classical music. Zombie has always been one of my all time favourite songs. But when those violins dropped at 0:16, it almost brought tears to my eyes.This was absolutely beautiful! And I can tell that the conductor loved every moment of this! :-)

Dolores and the CRANBERRIES really struck a chord with me in my 20's when their music came out. One of my favs. Gone too soon. What a great contribution she and the band have given.

This is singularly one of the greatest performances I have ever seen! As an Irish-American girl, I so totally appreciate it. I feel like this shows such deference and glory to the Irish--and also to the Polish--who have lead such hard-fought campaigns and lost so much to lead the world toward better change. I have for awhile felt a special deference for the Polish people - now I know why!!
