Another excellent informative video, thanks! Totally agree on upgrading the tires. I don't like the ride on the run-flats so I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could stuff wide rear tires on the 440i (285/30/20 Goodyear F1 Supercar 3 on 10" rims). And using Hawk DTC pads at the track offer lots of confidence in heavy high speed braking.

Just the sort of video I need as I'm upping the power in my 440i! Currently on BM3 stage 2 but only mechanical mod is a high flow downpipe. Guess I'm in the safe margin, but definitely aim to go further
BM3 has a update to the Stage 2 map. Have you flashed it yet? My car has the same Mods and holy shit it's fast.

Same - I have catless DP, AWE touring mid and axle, DME tune and tranny tune. I thought around 480-500hp was enough (and tbh it IS) but I want MOARRRRRR POWERRRR. Got quote 6500 for stage 2 turbo upgrade, custom tune etc. and f it - I’m gnna do it, and just have a gd batmobile
great content, I really enjoy listening to you talk about BMWs :) question, have you heard anything about e-turbos? Volvo is installing them on their mild-hybrid cars and apparently they are amazing. I am talking about having an electric motor strapped to the turbo to eliminate lag and produce a lot of torque down low. Thanks!

Hey quick question, I want to make around 650whp and hit around low 10s in my gen 1 b58 I’m stuck between the new cast pure 850 or a big boost 6466 I understand the hybrid turbo would get me to those goals but I don’t wanna potentially break anything else by having to max out that turbo
Do you recommend upgrade axels for the m340i xdrive? I have around 850 whp and I was entertaining axels, but I legit cannot find any upgraded aftermarket ones.
9:30 - With regards to upgrading downpipes, are you referring to some people making the stock downpipe work or catted DPs in general. Is pushing 550-600 even too much for 200/100 cell sports cats?
including high flow downpipes. unfortunately they can still fail when pushing higher power levels despite being less restrictive than the stock downpipe.
with regards to the new bm3 tunes (stage 2+ e30 and e50) I'm a little weary about how they were able to push the original stage 2+ e30 from 450-470whp to over 500whp and how safe it is on a stock turbo as well as how safe the e50 tune is for a stock turbo FBO build as well? (I'm currently running the TU pump)
You have to run logs to see how it works for you. The logs I've seen so far look good.
The fact you can make 9001 horsepower with just a few mods is crazy😅

Any1 has troublegetting they’re 240i in reverse? I press me lock button i try putting it in reverse and it tells me i’m not pressing the lock button. Maybe the button is broken or…? Hope someone can help. Thx ( i know its off topic)
Question for the group: I have a g20 M340i, and I plan on getting the Active Autowerke DP and a Vargas GC turbo (with a tune). Any ideas what HP and TQ I can aim for (with a non agressive tune). Are there any other bolt-on's I should look at to support this set-up? thanks all.

TU works you'll just be limited on power

the oil pump is mechanical.
you can turn over the engine manually by putting a big box wrench on the crank pulley bolt.

You can't do it without nitrous.

Is there any benefit to LPFP upgrade on DS2, i heard it helps flow ethanol better
With just ds2 it's not typically needed

Imagine you're trying to fill a bucket with a hole in it. The bucket is your HPFP and the hose is your LPFP. If you make the bucket bigger then you might struggle to keep it full because it's flowing too much out of the hole. That's like putting a bigger HPFP on your car. If you make the bucket smaller then you won't have any more issue keeping it full. So a smaller HPFP won't have any advantage from a bigger LPFP.
So for 700whp with a doc race turbo kit what would I need to upgrade

Thanks for noticing. It's actually very easy and something i will cover later because everyone is so surprised by it. The car is actually a 3 cylinder but the energy drink makes it perform like a 6.

@@kern417 cheers man....just saved me a fortune. Was looking at the ds2...but I'm not looking at running meth and in UK. What's the limit of the tu pump on 98ron? Can only find the ethanol figure in your vids. Also know anything about the venom800 turbo...they look decent for the goals I'm after.
