He Shall Feed His Flock

"He Shall Feed His Flock" is the 20th selection in Handel's Messiah written in 1741.
The first half of this aria is sung by the contralto soloist and the text is from Isaiah 40:11 which is prophecy concerning the coming Messiah.
The second half is sung by the soprano soloist and the text is from Matthew 11:28-29 which is the fulfillment of the Isaiah prophecy spoken by Christ.
