Glad you spend time explaining and exploring. You know exactly what we are trying to sense and feel 😊
You're welcome!
Totally love mine! Glad to see a video feature on it from you. =]
Great review dude. I've really started coming around to 3D sliders.
Yeah me too. It's also just great to have something that's more easily replaceable!
That's verking hilarious 😂 he done sent you some dirt....verking dirt
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the explanation! I've tried a couple other printed sliders, but the design of this one looks more refined than the others. I'll have to grab one for myself!
Yes get one! He's even made improvements after watching this video.
Seems great to play with, but one particular challenge to 3d sliders I think is the grip surface. Of course you want something that gives you traction. But I also want something that just feels good to hold in my hand (3d printed included).
I have a great little square slider with a grip pattern just like this one and, even though I love the motion, it just feels too rough to the touch.
Gladly there have been some good solutions here and there. For instance: Intrinsic3d with the balls on top and of course HapticEDC with the gemstone
I have a 3D-printed fidget, and its one of my favorites. I thought metal would only do it for me, but I was wrong.
Yeah there's nothing quite like a metal slider in the hand with a smooth and soft finish, but there's definitely some 3DP ones that achieve that worry stone feel as well. So many fidgets to choose from. I hope to be exploring lots more of the under $100 fidgets available out there in the future!
Might need to get one!
I already want an updated version!
I love the little turn around move you do at the end of the Sexton Slide. I figured out how to do it. I had to slow the video down. You should consider doing a series of tutorials. That’d be awesome.
Thanks man. I made that up myself. Don't really see anyone else trying it.
@@fidgetnerd it’s great. It really adds to the trick. I can’t do it nearly as smooth as you do it but it’s a lot of fun.
I'm sure he was buying those rapts for "research." Definitely not just giving in fully to slider addiction 😂 I've been wanting to do some research lately myself.
Nice review!
Yes... this is my "research spending account"
thanks man. i just placed my order for a orange and blue one to i can abuse the hell out of it!
I'm about to get one of these...I've been looking for a week and I'm the same about tape...Team No Tape
#teamnotape
Good Vid M8
Just so you know when weighing magnetic sliders, you can't put them right on the scale. The magnets will pull against the metal in the scale and inscrease the weight, I put a plactic jar on and put it on top when I weigh it. 27.19G with the jar, 34.75 without antyhing on my scale.
Yeah you can see me looking around for something to do that with before I weigh it, couldn't find anything easy, so in the moment I figured screw it, it's light 😅
Oh lol cool :) @@fidgetnerd
One slider with premium materials and probably four or five but I can use while working or don't care if I drop then I'd like the looks of this I don't need to use PTFE tape or film
Yes it's always a challenge finding a true beater. But 3D printed sliders are definitely a good option. Even if they're not as strong as metal, they are more affordable and easily replacable if they break.
