Thanks for checking them out and for your feedback. I should mention that the gemstone sliders have been specifically designed and dialed in to be used with the pre-installed slide tape. I agree with you that a less gritty sliding surface would be needed to run these smoothly without slide tape (magnet strength would also need to be tweaked as well). The plates on the VERKK slider really seem to function well, so kudos to Anthony on that design!

ABS is so slick when sanded. These glitter and gradient PLA filaments will be quite rough even when sanded down.

I'm jealous when you can easily buy sliders there. Here in Finland, I can't even find the first one anywhere. I have ordered one but the delivery time is not until September. I have to find a slider for myself before then.😅

You need to try the retro flat verkk by anthony. It has stronger magnets (at least that's what it feels like to me) and overall just feels great.The sound on the flat verkk too is crazy nice

What is slide tape?

Just a tape that sticks on the plates and allows them to slide easier. But gives a drastically different feel.

I was the same way. Then I got the HapticEDC surge and it completely changed my mind. I leave it to use at work and don’t care if I ruin it. It’s worth it for sure.
