not really, theyre both very different concepts and they do not share color pallette except for black
Emperyan has a different colour every aa only for that surpasses dark star
Empyrean skinline is kinda meh but they went 2 for 2 with the legendaries. Both pyke and varus are awesome

HOWEVER, it is surprisingly close
arguably even a direct upgrade , which devalues both.
No it's really not. First the WQ on Empryrean is so much more obvious for the enemy to see and there is a lot of unnecessary character movement animation, which is just horrible if you move click a lot. I thought this skin was gonna be the SKIN for Varus in the previews, now that I actually have it, I absolutely hate this skin lol.

Sure, but MOST PEOPLE literally buy legendries for the animations you're complaining about.
Thats LITERALLY why they are priced more, and what OTHER people value.
Its why as a brand main zombie brand is dope, but everyone can see the tells years in advanced, so you pick something more subtle.
I hate seeing someone react to the sounds of my LEGENDARY spells.
i just hate how varus's bow has a mouth or that its even alive, this skin couldve been so much cooler.
Of course his bow is alive because it's a darkin weapon.

its not like that, we know they are not the same tier but as a varus player i love to see how difference the new skin is from the one i am using right now which is dark star so this video is perfect to just see if its better at some thing or not than that specific skin
ok, but why Dark Star Varus have more details? how am epic skins have more things than a legendary skin?
Empyrean has better animations and is the better skin but the concept of dark star is cooler.
