Since I've been playing FM I've never had a problem winning trophies by just playing players in their natural positions, never even touched any team instructions...sometimes I think does it even make any difference?

i am struggling with how player positions/role looks... in fm22, it is just simple text and unable to say whether the player is good at playing in that position or not. in fm20, it was colour circle and it was giving you indicating whether player is confident to play on that role or not. if player is confident to play on the role I have assigned, it would be full green circle, if he is "ok" then it would be half yellow circle, and if he is bad at that role it would be red or black circle.
Can i somehow change fm22 to that?

Go into the player attributes and select the role you want to play him. the game will mark green and blue the attributes the player needs to play that role effectively. Watch out, depending on which countries and series you're playing, the attributes need to be at an higher or lower level to play it. If you're playing Serie B(Italy) a 12 could be enough, if you're playing Serie A absolutely not, you'll need at least 13-14.
