St Croix is really a beautiful historic island. I still love the vibe of St Thomas and St John with its beaches and historic town will always hold a place in my heart. Great video.
Being a little less of an experienced cruiser, I might have been tempted to think *”if you’ve seen one Eastern Caribbean island, you’ve seen them all,”* Until now… St. Croix looks amazing, and seems to have a different flavor than the other USVI’s. All of them have a different flavor from the other, and that’s what I love. I’ve done a Western Caribbean itinerary, as well as an Eastern one. I think I’m in love with the Eastern Caribbean. I could do this once a year, at least. The beaches are absolutely ideal.
Yeah the beach was very convenient and nice, but I'm sure there are even better beaches too. We definitely enjoyed this charming port. Thanks for the comment! 🙂
They're actually pretty similar in vibe and food quality. Very good service as well for both. If you're cruising on a newer Celebrity ship, the buffet and main dining can go toe-to-toe with Cunard's food. So it could come down to pricing and itinerary.
@@TravelTouristVideos What if I'm caught in between Celebrity Edge and Queen Anne? Also, the downside with Cunard is the dressing up requirement. Thanks!
Yeah you'll have to dress up on Cunard, though it wasn't super strict. We saw guests just wearing a sweater during the non-gala nights in the main dining. If you're on the Edge it should have the similar good food overall we had on the Apex. In your case I'd probably lean towards the Queen Anne since it will be a brand new ship and they'll likely want to make a good impression.
Another great video. A lot of the islands have some great, often hidden museums, that is bypassed by a lot of the shore excursions/
Thank you very much! 😊
Thank you. Nice to know there are things close by
Our pleasure- have a great time!😊
Amazing video! Thank you for mentioning the shuttle for guests with mobility issues. I want to go now 😂
Yeah that was nice to see them have that service! Thank you very much for the comment! 😊

Hi we enjoyed your video very much as we will be visiting soon, do you know roughly how much it was to rent the sunbeds/parasols on the beach
I think it was around $20 to $25. Have a wonderful time!
Thanks for coming. You are welcome anytime !
The pier is actually named The Anne E Abramson Pier
Did you walk there from the port? Is it free?
Yup all within walking distance. The fort was $5 but the beach was no charge.
how much is it to rent the chairs at the beach
If I remember correctly it was around $25
Did you notice any hair braiding stations?
Not 100% sure but I think they did have one at the market area.
How much is the shuttle to the end of the pier
I believe it's complimentary, though reserved to those who have mobility issues.
Cunard vs Celebrity, which is better overall and which has the better food?
