You simply do not see any shows like this on TV anymore. I remember watching Red Skelton every Sunday night before bedtime which was the official close of the weekend and school the next day. I especially remember his Pledge of Allegiance skit which still pops up on social media and Facebook time to time.
Wonderful show! I must say, I don't understand why the air date was different on the clapper board at the beginning. 0:04 This video was named correctly, though. According to the IMDB, the name is "Red Skelton Scrapbook 66 - guest John Wayne (1966)" It also says, "Episode aired Mar 1, 1966." So what's with the clapper board?

The copies I have are the last air dates which include the repeat air date. It might not be the original air date.
A shame TV has gone so far down the drain...
