I mean I'd show my editing process and share a few resources that I use. We'll be back with IIT Kharagpur Vlogs from Next Video! And if you're new, I'm Tharun, a pre-final year student in the department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Kharagpur.

I've been editing on Premiere Pro since last 5 months and before that I've used SHOTCUT to make the initial videos on this channel. This is not a Premiere Pro Tutorial or an Editing Tutorial. Everything that I talk about in this video are my personal views/opinions. Have fun!

@@KARAN-bo6ev it's over edited.. too many effects thats not even rquired but I guess that's what sells now a days. I used to go this type of editing when I first learned Ae back in 2019. Just showing off all the cool effects I knew at that time. I guess the attention span of today's generation has got down to 5 sec. so, you have to put a cut or a "cool" transition with a "whoop" sound effect just to make it watchable.

I have used Final Cut and Premiere pro, but the one that I would recommend the most is davinci resolve. Davinci is free for windows and pc yet still more power full the other pro editing software. Not only did I find features in davinci that I didn't find in of the other softwares it is one of the 4 big editing software (Final Cut, Premiere pro, Avid, divinchi) which means if you are good at editing you can get a good paying job off of doing something you learned for free
also for those wondering "if davinci is so powerful why is it free" davinci is made by Blackmagic, and for those that do not know blackmagic, they are a company that produces a lot of tv switchers and controllers for churches and other smaller to medium size productions. Blackmagic also makes cameras that are pretty high up in quality, these cameras are sometimes compared to some very expensive cameras like cameras made by "red" and arie aleix". The also are some of the main manufactures for SDI converters such as SDI 3G to 4G(not the same as wifi) and SDI to HDMI converters. Long story short Blackmagic is a very know company that makes plenty of money, so they can afford to make a powerful editting software for their camera users and other editors.
