5:23 That grinder looks like it was made in the 60's! Those old heavy metal power tools were tough and many still work to this day. My Uncle has several different types of saws, grinders, and other power tools from the 50's and 60's that my his Father and Grandfather used and they still work!

Wild to see how the GMC build of 2021 goes back to basically the late 90s if not early 2000s. Looks like almost the same truck just change the headlights and some body panels

🤔 lm not sure what you meant about not seeing a setup like the rear axle steering on the Teradine. I have looked at a G.M.C. YUKON on a lot, it was a 3/4 ton, 8 -bolt, 4X4 QUADSTEER. Same awesome looking powerful set up,

It would be nice when they box chassis in like this if they put some vertical stiffeners in. Of course you'd have to then put shorter lengths rather than that single length when you box it, but all they need to do is cut it.
I used to work in a chassis shop under instruction from an engineer doing mods like chassis lengthening for tandem axle conversions on trucks and that sort of thing. Chassis is just a bridge and if you look at steel trestle bridges they have vertical stiffeners on the UBs (I Beams). I'm not saying put 35 in, all I'm saying 3 or 4 per rail. Even some unibody cars have vertical stiffeners in the front and rear rails many of them (but not all) and I've repaired plenty of them over the years.
Tip, good crush tubes can be made by cutting tie rods down. Just unscrew the ends and you've got some thick wall crush tubes.

GMC concept truck "almost indestructible look". Construction... not so much. Looks like it was "designed" by a bunch of college boys with purple hair and a heavy lisp that have never driven or used a truck before.
