@@Grunt49 yup nothing but issues with those mortors, no power to do anything with a work truck your going to want to be able to tow you need torque, the 7.3 diesel would of been a way better option.
While I realize this video is from 20 years ago, I feel that certain things should still be addressed. When installing any truck cap, the foam tape should always be applied to the cap and not to the bed rails. This insures that your sealing material will the most effective. If you apply the foam tape to the bed rails, it may not even be in contact with the cap. Another issue is that in certain parts of the country (New York State for example) truck caps must be bolted on in order to cross certain long span bridges. If you cap is only clamped on, you will not be allowed to cross these bridges.
I don't like the way the new power wagon looks at all. Hate the paint job. Keep the frame and power supply and scrap the body. Try again. Had a early 80's power wagon. Loved it and miss it to this day.
Glad they never went into production. It's very rare for a concept to go into production. Usually it's some of the technology that ends up in future vehicles. But some concepts absolute abominations when it comes to styling. You can't out do the original styling of the classics/antiques with concepts.
With chevy's Nova did the same way but they made it anyways. Nothing like what it did look like. Impala too. Dodge did it with charger and challenger also. Looks nothing like they used to.

Awesome workhorse especially with a triton V10 gas engine I miss this show
They should of built one with the 7.3 Diesel engine would of been way more practical those v10 tritons are junk
