There interesting Ill give you that. But John was a pilot so its really likely he wrote it being inspired by flying and unfortunately his disire ended up killing him. Also, considering Kurt Cobain killed himself, this probably doesn't count but he wanted to name Nirvanas album In Ultra I hate myself and I want to die. Courtney, Dave and Chris should have used that as a warning

Considering the ways of the music industry, and the fact that it's occultically controlled, I really am not surprised that they 'predicted' their own deaths.
Numerology, gematria, true word meanings, their names, the places they died, the manner... I am of they firm belief that it is all planned by the powers that be.

John Denver's death wasn't due to 'engine failure.' The plane he was flying (for the first time) had two gas tanks. When one tank was running out, the pilot has to switch to the other tank. When gas tank #1 started to run out, Denver had to turn 90 degrees to his right to switch tanks. He actually practiced doing this with the head mechanic watching, just to make sure he could reach it. He could. But he failed to realize that when in the air, he'd be strapped down into the seat.
The NTSB thinks that once he realized he couldn't reach the selector switch because he was strapped down, he panicked and pressed his right foot hard against the floorboard to reach the switch, but what he did was depress the rudder pedal, causing the plane to violently pitch, and since he was at only 500ft, he had no room for error. His plane rolled over and slammed into the ocean and some rocks.

Here are some you left out:
Allman Brothers guitarist Duane Allman died in a motorcycle crash on October 29, 1971. He was 24. 1 year and 13 days later, on November 11, 1972, Allman Brothers bassist Berry Oakley died in a motorcycle crash at age 24, only three blocks from where Duane had crashed.
Weezer bassist Mikey Welsh posted a weird message on Twitter on September 26, 2011, which said “Dreamt I died in Chicago next weekend (heart attack in my sleep). Need to write my will today.” Shortly after, he posted “Correction - the weekend after next.” Sure enough, he died of a heart attack in his sleep in Chicago two weeks later.
Alice In Chains singer Layne Staley had a huge problem with heroin addiction throughout his life. In an interview several months before his death, the last interview he would ever do, he said “I know I’m near death. I did crack and heroin for years. I never wanted to end my life this way.” Not only did he semi-predict his own death, but he died on April 5, 2002, eight years to the day that Kurt Cobain died.
Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell committed suicide by hanging in May 2017. His best friend, Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, sadly committed suicide 2 months later, on what would have been Chris Cornell’s 53rd birthday.
Freddie Mercury and KISS drummer Eric Carr both died on the same day (November 24, 1991).

I have ALS. Oddly it started almost to the day I began my writing career in 2011.
It took a long time to figure out what was going on because the changes were so slow in coming. Like suddenly I couldn't whistle anymore. From one day to the next, I suddenly just couldn't make a sound...
When I finally found out what it was, I'd already lost all desire for food or water. The problem (from my point of view) was that the book series I'd started writing wasn't finished. I figured dying before it was done would be rude. :)
I got a feeding tube put in despite the fact that my body had apparently already decided it was done. Then a tracheostomy because I couldn't breathe since the muscle tone in my throat was causing it to collapse and choke me.
I finished book 10 and re-edited the whole 1.2 million word series.
The moral to this story? If there's something you're good at and you're pretty sure it's why you're here? Something that you just burn to do? Do it. When I found out death was coming in single-digit years, maybe months, it made a HUGE difference that I'd done what I'd always wanted to do. :) Like I was already at ease with the fact that I was going to die because my bucket list was all checked off.
I can't emphasize it enough. DO IT. Want to travel Europe? Just go. Want to paint or sketch? Set your alarm an hour or two early and do it. I looked up how much sleep an adult really NEEDS and set my alarm for 3AM. 2 extra hours of writing every day. How? Coffee... :) I figured if single moms can live their lives like that, I can lose sleep to make my dreams come true.
That crazy Shia Lebouf video where he's screaming "DO IT!"? I agree with every word. Just fucking do it. Get off the couch, turn off the TV and do it. You absolutely won't regret it, but I promise, at the end of your life? You'll deeply regret NOT doing it.

If you prefer not to say, I completely understand. Either way, I am wishing the best for you and very glad to hear your wishes and dreams have been realized thanks to your own actions and willpower. Beautiful to hear that and thanks for sharing your experience!

      @davidbuschhorn6539 5 лет назад +3

@@geoffphillips3320 My particular flavor of ALS usually kills you the fastest. 6-18 months after symptoms start, so I've been lucky. My arms and legs still work great (so I can still drive my manual transmission muscle car, but I don't race anymore), but I can't talk at all, swallowing is mildly difficult and eating is no longer possible. Without the feeding tube and trach, I'd probably have died around June/July of last year.
Writing is a chore because my left hand fingers are curling up so novel writing is pretty much out. I'd hoped to keep writing the series for decades to come but thankfully had time to wrap it up nicely and give a summary of each character's lives after the series ended. That way the readers sort of know what became of everyone. :)

Amy Winehouse, while recording with Tony Bennett, confessed to him, "You know, Tony, I don't think I'm going to live very long." It still haunts him to this day as she died shortly after their recording sessions.
John Denver could have predicted how he was going to die in Rocky Mountain High: "And they say that he got crazy once and he tried to touch the sun."

In the Beatles song Come Together, Lennon can be heard whispering "shoot me" during the bass and drum fill sections. 11 years later someone would do just that. At that time he was in a good place getting his music career back on track after a long hiatus. He was looking forward to his 40's and the rest of the 80's. He all and likely would have reunited with the Beatles at some level as his relationship with Paul was good at the time, even if it was just a single or an appearance at Live Aid.

God. It has been 23 years. I remember, distinctly, the day John Denver died. It was a fuel switch problem. The handle was broken, and there was a set of vicegrips in it's place. It also was in a weird place, behind the pilot's head, instead of down, close to the pilots leg, or on the dash. It required him to turn, and use both hands to twist the fuel selector valve, to switch tanks. Experimental aircraft can be a pain sometimes.
By the way, a lot of that footage is from the 1995 Wildlife Concert tour. I highly, highly, recommend watching it. It's an amazing concert.
Eagles and Horses, Ponies, Potter's Wheel, Calypso, Amazon, You Say the Battle is Over, Me and My Uncle, Eagle and the Hawk, Dreamland Express, Leaving On a Jet Plane/Goodbye Again, Mathew, Bet on the Blues, The Harder They Fall, and Country Roads (the Fallout 76 song) are all among my favs. I'm a fan of John Denver. Lol

As for death self-predictions, when I was in my mid-teens I began to feel quite sure I was going to die before I was 30 in a car accident. I had a long history of visions and predictions that had come true, so I felt pretty sure, and yet had a strange acceptance of the fact. Later in my early 20s I took a job working at DHL as a courier (when it was wild and woolly, not all uniformed and proper like now), where I averaged about 200 miles a day driving like a madman to make hard deadlines (airline flights in particular, plus it was fun!). I wasn't concerned about my..."vision", but I was aware that it still felt very real.
But the years went by, I worked for 2 more courier companies, and all was fine. And now I'm in my mid-60s. My point is, I felt VERY certain of my car crash before 30 ending, but it didn't happen. So I'm glad I didn't worry about it and just went on with life. And if you feel this kind of prediction for your life, I say, don't sweat it - whatever will be will be. Enjoy what you have, keep an eye on your health, and go forward in life with enthusiasm! Every day is a gift.

Growing up, I convinced myself that I'd die at 27. Luckily.. after a terrible, life destroying and often deadly run with a pain killer addiction.. and a really uncomfortable experience waking up naked in the back of an ambulance after being dead for 30 mins or so.. I finally decided to check into a rehab. Which, I must admit was almost as terrible an experience as addiction (do to the programs denials about it being a heavily religious process - that I'm not on board with.)
Anyways, it wasn't easy. And I certainly understand why most people go back to their old ways. It's was an experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone and years later, it's still a struggle - every day.
I guess I technically died at 27, but fortunately I was narcamed back to life on the 2nd attempt. What a crazy thing man.

Albert Hammond had a hit with "I dont wonna die in an air disaster", predicting just right that , he wouldn't die flying- though that can still happen as Hammond is still around :)
But John Denver, even if he presaw what was going to happen, his engine didn't fail.
He had just purchased this innovative "ducktail" plane in which the pilot had to keep balance by pumping fuel manually from left tank to right - and the pump handle was at the back over pilot's left shoulder.
So when the thing did get unstable, Denver must 've panicked, unable to get the plane straight by hard pumping behind his back, while keeping the other hand on the column trying to stabilize the flight..
The technician guy who instructed him was in the documentary recounting all this, and the man seemed kind of uncomfortable when explaining he declined Denvers' invitation to fly with him - nor stopping him doing this first flight ..
The air safety board let the guy off though.

John Denver was not flying his own private plane. He was flying a single passenger type of plane, he had very little knowledge of. Some of the controls that he was used to being in front of him, were actually behind him. They think this may be all, or part, of the reason he crashed. He shouldn't have been flying at all, because his license had been suspended. That being said, it was still a tragedy, that we lost him so young. RIP John Denver.

when i called the suicide hotline, they put me on hold!!!! when they picked up again, they said "are you still there?" i waited a couple seconds and said boo!! as loud as i could. there was a weak scream, and then some choking sounds. i heard some sounds of things getting knocked over. someone in the backround said OMG! CALL 911!!! i hung up, and changed phone service the next day.

Why didn't you mention Mr David Bowie and song Lazarus? Lyrics foreshadowed his death and especially video ending where he goes in the closet.

bowie had already known that he was going to die and that lazarus would be the last song he was going to be able to record. not a coincidence but a goodbye to his fans.

That shout-out to the suicide prevention hotline was nice.
I've struggled with things, and think I'm doing pretty good now
The important thing is for people to to look out for each-other. Friends, family, co-workers, whoever.
No one should go down that road before their time.

@bjsmith503, I've struggled with it a long time & came to this epiphany; EVERY organism has self preservation as it's biological imperative. When your brain tells you otherwise, it's NOT to be trusted. May peace find ur heart friend!

That part of the song represented the electroshock therapy and cold showers that he experienced.
