Chris Cornell's passing was particularly hard for me. I've been a huge rock music fan since I was a little kid, and Soundgarden has always been one of my favorite bands. I had the privilege of seeing Chris play a solo acoustic show back in 2016, it was an intimate setting and he played for three hours. He was incredible, best show I've ever been to. A few months later I took my guitar (which I barely knew how to play) and got in front of a mic for the first time and played to an audience at a local bar I worked at. One of the five songs I played that night was "Doesn't Remind Me" by Audioslave. Nine months later on my 23rd birthday, I woke up to the news that he committed suicide earlier that morning. It's the first and only time a death of somebody I never met genuinely broke my heart. He and his music have had such a massive impact on me. Now I'm fronting my own band, playing shows, and writing music. His beautiful and haunting lyrics and belting vocals made me want to sing and write songs. His death is also particularly hard to swallow because, like Robin Williams and Dolores O'Riordan, it was completely unexpected. In his later years he really seemed like he had himself sorted out and was at peace with everything, apparently not the case. RIP

I know this is highly subjective, but the most devastating celebrity death in the last decade, for me personally, was that of Cory Monteith. No-one hated Glee more than us Glee fans, but also, no-one loved the Glee cast more than us. He seemed like such a sweet person, and he was so open about his history with drug addiction. His death at age 31 left many of us even younger fans of his absolutely heartbroken.
Yep. It's a systemic myth the more money you have, the more satisfied you are with your life & vice versa. Very far from... Then people usually swoop in and say "but think about all the problems you will Never have when you're rich!" How about all the problems you don't have by not living in a 3rd world country?... On paper we should all be happy we have safety, clean water, etc. but it gets integrated into the baseline. The heart keeps track of things, is usually hungry, can make us or break us for sure
David Bowie's death hit me hard. When reports of Paul Walker's death first came up on my social media feeds, I first brushed it off as a hoax until reliable news sources reported it.

There is a few you missed out on. In 2016 Gord Downie as the Lead Singer of the Canadian rock group The Tragically Hip. Gord Downie had been diagnosed with Terminal Brain Cancer and even went as far to having some of his brain removed. After his surgery he went out touring across Canada and it was especially sad when they were in there home town Kingston,Ontario. While performing the lyrics "Help, Help" you can see how bad he had gotten it because he knew his time will soon be up. Later on in the same concert during there song "At The Hundredth Meridian" Gord had forgotten the word to a lyric. The worst part was they had teleprompters for Gord because he was missing some of his brain. But right after the bit that he had forgotten he had to do something even harder while missing a chunk of brain. But he pulled through and nailed the rest of the concert while being a true professional about it. After he came out to say one last good bye to the Kingston crowd and the Prime Minister. Love the video and hopefully the next decade we dont see this many loved celebs pass.
It would sadden me to know that after my death my siblings would be fighting each other for inheritance and the like😪 But that’s the world we live in folks...
I’m somewhat at a loss. I speak for myself and so many others who don’t find it easy to ask for help. If there is even the most random person you can think of they might be your lifeline. God bless us all suffer. I don’t want to ask for help because I am sick of the standard response so maybe if you reach out to that one person, even if you don’t think they’ll be there, you might be surprised. I have recently found somebody a friend that should probably have washed their hands of me and they are just as they were when we were friends. It may not end up being salvation but it is certainly refreshing. After all what do you have to lose… I don’t give that fat too much thought and maybe, reach out. I wish I could do more. With all of us who suffered with thinking or caring too much it can be a cross to bear. I always think of the alternative and that is being a faceless, almost mindless drone that has just given up. I know it’s not easy. I guess there’s only hope.
First we lost Bowie on 1/10/16, and I was still upset over that and got the news that Alan Rickman died on 1/14/16, just days apart, then Prince on 4/2/16, I lost it when I heard of his passing, so glad I got to see him in concert. All 3 of them were legends, I loved them all equally, but I hate that year for obvious reasons. Saying that, Robin Williams was the most shocking of all, I just didn't want to believe it. I still get sad when I think about it. But they say that some of the best comedians have really bad depression, don't know, but yeah.

I was very surprised there was no mention of Debbie Reynolds who died the day after her daughter Carrie Fisher.
Bill Paxton’s death was tragic as well
What...when how????
Filip Murzea Feb 25 2017 he died during heart surgery
Filip Murzea Bill Paxton died in 2017 at age 61 of complications from open heart surgery he suffered a stroke during surgery.

Carrie Fisher’s mother, Debbie Reynolds followed her in death. Reynolds was a seasoned actress.
Debbie Reynolds: Stroke caused by distress of child loss.
The fact that none of then died natural cost tells you that happiness is priceless
I'm glad you included the great Alan Rickman.
I got the honour of both meeting and playing a few ganes of warhammer 40k with robin williams. My personal hero...
There should be a part 2.
Christina Grimmie, Chester Bennington, Lemmy Kilmister, Tom Petty and Mac Miller should be here
Roger Moore died of cancer at age 89 in 2017 and Tom Petty died of a heart attack in 2017 at 66 should be on list
David Bowie's death hit me hard.
When reports of Paul Walker's death first came up on my social media feeds, I first brushed it off as a hoax until reliable news sources reported it.
I know Paul Walker dying that way just seemed made up like a joke albeit a sick one but I was stunned sad for his loved ones and horrified how he died by fire and other injuries he burned in that car
Lewy Body Dementia killed Robin he wasn't of sound mind to make that choice his brain was being eaten by a fast aggressive demonic disease
Carrie Fisher's mom Debbie Reynolds, too - even if she wasn't young? "Broken heart syndrome" anyone?
Debbie Reynolds: Stroke resulting from distress due to loss of child.
@@christian.9075 I believe in this.
My father died from a heart attack 17 months after my brother died from cancer.
After my brother died, my dad never seemed the same, and threw himself into work. He would never talk about it, and he tried not to cry in front of us.
There were other factors involved as well, but when the doctor told us that my dad's heart had been severely damaged due to the heart attack, I thought to myself "Well, his heart is already broken".
Alan rickman?
David bowie?
Ronnie james Dio?!
Robin williams
Chester bennington (who i Actully knew through a friend that one hit the hardest)
Paul walker
Alan Rickman: Pancreatic cancer
David Bowie: Liver cancer
Ronnie James Dio: Stomach cancer

When i was suicidal, i did get in touch with the prevention people, and instead of helping me they took away my babies. A 2 month old and a 2 year old. They are 39 and 41 now, and they still believe i gave them away. I was not insane.i took care of my babies. What i felt didn't interfere with my babies.
I felt once I'm gone, their dad would be there for them. But I thank God i had help from him, (God) because he's the only one that would help me. I was exposed to them writing that i was incapable of raising my girls. They wrote all kinds of weird lieing stuff about me to the courts. Don't trust a stranger who's job is in law inforcement. And prevention places are involved with law.

It's great that you take a stance against suicides, but you have to remember that not everyone who watches your video lives in the US. Perhaps adding 'or your local equivalent' would be prudent?
This! Though I really appreciated how they used appropriate language regarding the issue.

I thought Tom Petty would be remembered here. It was shocking to me. Didn't get much coverage because of the vegas massacre, but also a big loss that day. [Not to minimize the tragedy of vegas...so don't bother attacking]
Love Rickman!!
George Michael, Prince, Robin Williams still tough to accept but all very sad.
Hoffman will always be Dusty to me❤️ (Twister).
2016 was a bad year for the loss of iconic, much loved musicians and actors. We lost Bowie, Prince, Alan Rickman & numerous others that year. It's bad enough when we lose 1 or 2 favourites in a year, but so many in one year was almost devastating 💔.
We loved you all, Blessings to all their Families.

It would sadden me to know that after my death my siblings would be fighting each other for inheritance and the like😪
But that’s the world we live in folks...
Another solution is to have an iron-clad will setting out your wishes. Then the siblings can
like it or lump it.
Of all of these.. Paul Walker was the saddest for me, watched his movies.. loved him.
Me too I cried for hours about paul

First we lost Bowie on 1/10/16, and I was still upset over that and got the news that Alan Rickman died on 1/14/16, just days apart, then Prince on 4/2/16, I lost it when I heard of his passing, so glad I got to see him in concert. All 3 of them were legends, I loved them all equally, but I hate that year for obvious reasons.
Saying that, Robin Williams was the most shocking of all, I just didn't want to believe it. I still get sad when I think about it. But they say that some of the best comedians have really bad depression, don't know, but yeah.
