Rodzaevsky´s rethinking of the USSR under Stalin is preety much correct when you think about it and Mussolini himself, after the signing of the Nazi-Soviet Pact of 1939, bragged about how the pact had turned the Stalin regime from Bolshevism towards one of "Slavic fascism". Besides that, there were also those communists and anarchists that were opposed to the Soviet Union and who saw in it a fascist degeneration of socialist/communist ideals - some thinkers of this group called the Soviet experiment and it´s official ideology of marxism-leninism (created by Stalin) has a form of "red fascism". No wonder how many on the Russian far-right - in spite of disliking the USSR in general - still look up to Stalin like a Tsar.
Not only because under his rule there was a complete reversal of the more socially and culturally progressive measures implemented during the early years of the USSR (under Lenin) but also due to the fact that during his rule, Russia reached it´s maximum height in worldwide influence (jingoism).
PS: In the most recent "Red Flood" mod, you can actually choose to play as Rodzaevsky after Zheltorossiya´s collapse and reunify Russia with him without actually being a collaborator to a foreign power (reactionary path).
