Your genius, And PARKSIDE quality has to improve don’t know how they make money with their five year warranty when every second tool I have already had to be replaced.
Nice one. Are you just buying these tools as non working to repair them and reselling/giving it away? Or are you directly repairing stuff for other people? I have the same hobby - I love repairing stuff so everything that is broken I will find a root cause and try to fix it/improve it. :-) So I really really enjoy your content! Thanks for being this good at it. :-)
This is a from flea market which I bought it for €20 and it worked. But after a long mowing, this happened and I decided to repair it. I'm buying them cheap and if they don't work I try to repair them and when I have more I sell them.
The magnet holder together with the rotor must be a removable coupling type. Clutch type. A thick washer of textolite, rubber or teflon can be placed between the magnet holder and the bearing
If you buy a lot of very cheap Parkside products, you have always something to repair ;) If using other more expensive brands, you would have less work :)
I bought a used trimmer as if it was working and it didn't work, I tried everything and everything and I can see that it spins in empty, what a way you explained very well how to fix it. This is not the first time you have helped me indirectly with repairs, thank you! 🩵

Nice one, but what was the point of making that bushing over the rotor? A clutch or something?
I'm curious also. It looks like some clutch, atleast on the video.
Looks like some magnetic coupling going on there. 🤔
Bushing is designed to keep the magnets from flying around due to centrifugal force and must be stationary in the rotor.
It's just from the temperature or the vibrations that they came off
