The other modification I would and will do, is replace the black plastic pulley (9:45), with an aluminium one cause it looks to me that the flimsy plastic pulley rubbing against the metal cogs of the oil pump, will degrade very quickly.
Mine through off the chain on sideways cutting. The retention clip went off and so did the washer of the chain. Couldn't find the clip on the soil so I stopped that day and replaced the clip and washer on another day. Working great ever since. Saw managed even a bigger chain. It's powerful enough.
This is the second case, the first was with a friend who had bought a new one and was constantly throwing a chain, and we improved his in the same way.
@@ErCanEverythingYou executed that well. I have done a similar ''motor angle alteration'' on a cordless bandsaw from Makita. The bandsaw was droping the blade and yeah, washers to the rescue.
In my B2 (although I don't know if it has the same IAN number as yours) this washer on the sprocket does not have a completely round hole. It is round at the ends and with extended sides. It fits onto the end of the motor shaft and rotates with it. The chain doesn't fall off that easily. Although the quality/hardness of the metal is equally poor. BTW, do you know where to get this integrated electronic module? The Chinese have something similar, like the one for an angle grinder that you replaced in one of your videos?
Have you ever tried the Parkside PAGHS 20-Li A1cordless pruning chain saw? I would like to ask how often the saw chain gets loose when you use it? How often do you need to tighten the saw chain? Is it possible if you tighten the mounting screw very tight the saw chain will not be loosened after that?
This is second hand but a friend had bought a new one B2 version which had the same problem. But my first one was an A1 I was very happy which I sold it. I don't know if the performance series have a same problem, and it could be due to a very tight chain I do not know🤷
@@ErCanEverything Chain tension problem is like on b2 gasoline version-sprocket that runs the chain isnt concentric.Or the sprocket on the chain guard isnt concentric .So one part of chain is loose and other is super tight. Quality control is crap on parkside tools.

Do you know how to disable the soft start on this saw? Maybe there is a chance to disable it with connecting the wires differently. The soft start is so horrible on this saw. Almost everyone don't likes the soft start which I spoken with.
@@ErCanEverything I understand, but you have to understand if you cut a lot the soft start is really annoying and takes much time, because you have to wait every time s couple seconds until the same has full revolutions.
@@VitorMadeira Good luck with soft start when you are in the woods and you want to finish cutting the wood as fast as possible. Work time is more expensive. Is your time nothing worth for you? You're ingenious and talented, but first of all how can they sell this kind of tool as everyone know that problem ? And this is not the only tool concerned by my own experience (in France) with this brand, fortunaly just buy a few and stop. More of that, with a chainsaw it's rather dangerous for users. I have a thermic Husqvarna 61 from mid 90' heavy and not modern, but still running well more than 30 years later just with a good maintenance.

Soft start helps increase batttery life and prevents premature hardware wear.
