Love April Wine! Saw them many times live here in Canada 🇨🇦. Sadly Myles Goodwyn passed away in 2023. Incredibly talented Singer Songwriter Musician and Producer.❤ 🇨🇦
Ive known Myles for almost 50 years. That man could write some songs!!! It still hurts to hear his voice and know we will never talk again. Thank you for highlighting his music. I agree with everyone else, listen to more of his songs.

This song was released in 1977, their 6th studio album. April Wine is one of the very best Classic Rock Bands, not just from Canada, but North America. Myles Goodwyn 1948-2023 RIP. The band is still touring with Brian Greenway as front man. Brian joined in '77, just after the release of this album.
These guys should have been bigger than they were. They performed in a lot of high school gyms and bars, locally.

Another terrific song from a great Canadian band and I love your observation equating the harmonies with The Everly Brothers. Growing up in the 1950's and 1960's I should have made that connection myself. This is not a ground breaking song but it is a teen anthem to love and heartbreak that many of us can relate to. The great vocals, the sanguine guitar solo and wonderful harmonies really make this a beautiful song. Thanks Harri and Cheers from Ontario, Canada!

He wrote this sometime between 1961-66. You can really hear the Everly Brothers, and all the Girl Bands with the spoken and echoed lyrics. The band formed in '69, and this song was on their 6th studio album in '77 ( yes, 6 studio albums in 8 years). He had some of the greatest musical influences growing up and it really comes through in the different styles he has used over the years.
