- An attempted traffic stop ended in a high-speed chase and an arrest of a 31-year-old man in Tampa, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to the agency, Raeshad Hopkins was taken into custody Monday night and is now facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

I have noticed often the pursued car in light traffic will be changing lanes wildly but the trooper will pretty much remain in one lane.

Living in Tampa area I know this location all to well and anyone that was taken the turn this scumbag wrecked on knows not to take it faster then 30/40mph tops! Clearly the trooper knew that judging how hard he breaked before even noticing they crashed on the turn 😂 Well done FHP 👏🏽

Once i saw them hit kennedy then hit a u turn onto the veterans, while holding the left lane, i knew exactly where this idiot crashed. Ive hauled fuel in the tampa area for years. I would take the courtney cambell to get to my stations. Almost nightly. Ive seen 4 accidents there in the 7 years ive lived in the area. Thats a sharp turn without a doubt.
Lots of ppl from this area are cautious of this turn LOL I remember when a semi wasn't as aware either. That wall has way too many marks

You can see by the way each officer approached the car, who was the real cop and who was the trick-or-treater, just wearing a costume to get some goodies,(pay, benefits, retirement, respect, etc.). She had the passenger’s hands behind her back and the passenger pulled her hand away, and she did nothing.

I had this happen next to me in Kansas. I had seconds to pull off the highway to avoid a major accident. Scared me so badly I had to stop somewhere to eat to calm down. He must have done something bad because that cop was willing to cause an accident to catch him. Felt like a mini heart attack.

He was charged with child neglect, which carries up to 5 years in prison. He was also charged with kidnapping, which carries a possible life sentence. He's likely going to prison for a few decades.
