Nice, it would almost be a curse for me that, I would just want to constantly talk to him but also never want to intervene. He left the industry that early because he wanted the peaceful life and good for him man, he deserves it.
Truly the best at physical comedy since the legend Norman wisdom ,loving ya reactions, seen evans couple times life ,which in hindsight blessed ,because the man's enjoying his retirement wata boss, read his books if ya can he was never gona be a funny man
Lee is from the Bristol as am I and we are all pretty funny people no matter which part of the city you are in. We have been voted the friendliest and happiest place to live 3 or 4 times in recent years too. Another fun fact about Bristol...Blackbeard the pirate (Edward teach) was from Bristol! There are still pubs you can drink in from those days here and also a pub Blackbeard regularly drank in is still going! Arrrrrr!
Brilliant video guys, long-time subscriber here. You are easily in my top 3 favourite reaction video creators, I actually often think you know more about and 'get' British humour better than a lot of folk over here! Is there a friendly Canadian out there who can tell me, did you folks get lots of British shows on your terrestrial TV back in the day?
He used to do deliveries and window dressings for Rosebys (curtains and bedding shops), and they was slave drivers. They wanted stuff done and dusted before you had chance to start it. My Mrs was manager at Rosebys in Barking and knew Lee just around the time he was about to hit the big time, and she said when he come in to do window dressings he was like a rat up a drain pipe, he would have it done in half he time anyone else could. And he even sweated just as bad as he does on his stage shows back then. She said he was a proper nice bloke and really funny. They knew he was going to make it big.
Sorry chaps ,but I have never found Lee Evans funny, he has never even raised a titter out of myself. it just seems to be shouting and perspiring all the time to me .
Are you fucking serious.comedy is not just cracking jokes,i.e Jimmy carr,or telling funny stories,i.e Billy Connolly,or clever political humour,i.e Stewart lee.just watching Lee Evans mannerisms & comedy acting/performing is top 10 ever best
Russell Howard's better on t.v & gameshows.mock the week, taskmaster etc but stand-up-take it or leave it.Phil jupitus did stand up in the 80's & wasn't to everyone's political tastes.but grew(literally)into a very funny comedic host/presenter/panellist on such as never mind the buzzcocks,q.i., Never mind being a knowledgeable dj & writer.& You are what???a prick typing shite.if I didn't find something funny I wouldn't go straight to my phone/laptop & say I'm 0.1% of the people responding to 1 of the most successful comedians in history.I'd just slit my wrists.lol
Lee Evans is hilarious at first however the repeating jokes in every show over the years made me stop watching him, but every once in a blue moon it can still make me titter lol
I used to live near Lee some years ago and would often see him jogging. Sometimes he would stop and chat with people, a very very nice guy.
The fact he gave it all up to spend time with his wife tells you alot about him 💯

With Leonard Rossiter.
He doesn’t though.

Great reaction as always.
Always a treat to see Lee.
I have to say Brad, it seemed to me you were treading on thine ice at the beginning, brave man.🤨
lee Evans is so funny lol..
I worked with Lee's Dad Dave a funny man and a talented instrumenalist knew his mum Shirley too
Lee Evans played the crippled guy in Something About Mary.. the more you know ;)
He did a great California accent🤣
Mousehunt and Fifth Element too. Was in a few movies before he retired. Pretty sure he was in one with Jackie Chan as well
@@peterb2286 It was The Medallion

She's grumpy today. Poking her will cure it. 🤣

I'd love to see Lucy actually laugh.
Lee is a real life cartoon character
AW, it cut the end when he said "Yell, I aint fuckin' doing that again. If anyone asks me...".
legend
Lee trained as a boxer that’s why he’s so:fit.

26p for a stamp. It's about five times that now!
This was nearly 30 years ago though to be fair.
Grrumpy and saltry Lucy is the perfect match for animated Brad! Canadian chemistry, but not quite as good as Rush!
😂🤣
Brad appears dopy today. Lucy as gorgeous as ever.
This guy is way too hyperactive for me. I wonder if he's like that in everyday life. Can you imagine bumping into him on the street; exhausting.
He hasn’t done stand up in a long time and is actually very shy/quiet when not performing
@lifesbutastumble I'm sure you are correct.
He’s only hyperactive on stage.

I bet you love the likes of Russell Howard & Phil Jupitus. 🤐
