The worst part of all is that Twitter for Android is ruined now because it no longer shows the device tweets are sent from. Instead it shows what planet the tweet is sent from, meaning every tweet on the platform says “Sent from Earth”.

It's a shame that the bad part of Twitter has grown so much, there's a lot of talented artists and genuinely funny people that are there.

As someone who never once got Twitter (and I've been tempted), I'm just sitting here with a mug in my hand admiring the chaos.
This is me after I jumped ship. Only had Twitter for archiving art and Switch captures. But it's such a trash pile now, I've just abandoned it. Now I don't post art anywhere, and I use my PC to backup Switch captures. Gotta say, I've been a lot happier.
I feel like I was too old when Twitter came out, because I never got the point
But when the twitter drama stuff became popular, i was very intrigued to join lol

i started using twitter again recently (ironically, because i’m using each social media less and filling the void by using more forms of it) and wow, that paid verification badge being pushed in the algorithm sure is showing me the world’s worst people all the time

The funniest coming out of this verified thing, is that yellow checkmarks exist, which are for offical companies. A guy called Disney Jr. UK got the yellow checkmark, meaning not only was he verified, but he was also a verified company. like i could sit here for hours trying to explain how goddamn funny this just is, the power a that man had was immense.

The thing that is stupid and ridiculous is the algorithm boosting. That verified accounts are the top replies everywhere, that their Tweets are always on your timeline. That is really annoying.
You still get half the ads. How do these people overlook that? They take your money and your data and still shows you ads.
